They'll choke eventually. I just hope whoever wins isn't Los Angeles or Chicago.

I would like to see a Jays v Cubs World Series.

The only other team I want to see win 1 World Series is the Cubs so if Jays lose it will at least be to a team that has suffered like how I did (ok worse) as a Portugal fan.

Would love a Jays win. Having a Toronto team win a major trophy in the same year Portugal won a major trophy would be epic

Not as epic as Boston (even though we're out)

Toronto is probably the 2nd most Portuguese city that made the playoffs so hopefully they pull it off.

Really don't like baseball but pulling for Cleveland. It'd be cool for that city to win twice

I don't know about that. Toronto city proper has a massive Portuguese population. I've been to Boston For a week and it didn't even compare to Toronto in terms of Portuguese areas. I know most live in the suburbs there so it was hard to judge but speaking about city proper, Toronto has more.

Cubs are a f*cking joke. 108 years without a title, they go spend billions this off-season and trade deadline to stack their team and they almost shit the bed against a Giants team void of any power or bullpen. It took Bruce Bochy to go full retard for them to progress. They don't have the spine to win it. And Javi Baez is a c*cksucker.

That being said, Boston sh*t the bed too, which was great to see. Everyone glorifying this juiced up roid abuser, but they don't have a problem shitting on Bonds, the greatest hitter of all time.

I'm pulling for Toronto, Cleveland, or Washington.

Agreed. Cubs would be heavy favorites against the jays.

Theo Epstein built the Cubs into a contender. Good young team. Jays should win, they've got a stacked team.

Dodgers might but the coach is an idiot using Kershaw like that, he's gonna be tired. Indians are underdogs and winning two titles in the same city is magical.

Rather see Cubs break the curse. I like their team and theo epstein is a genius GM. He builds the BoSox/Cubs.

I have faith we'll turn it around at home. But Cleveland's pitching has bamboozled the Jays

Jays hitters insist on swinging for home runs. They know this and pitch them braking stuff outside. Jays still trying to pull it. Go with the pitch to the opposite field. Uhhhhh

Lets just rename the thread "the official other sports thread" or something along those lines - a place where we can discuss any sport
