I couldn't find a thread for Orr Barouch on here. He has signed with Hapoel Petah Tivka of the Liga Leumit (2nd tier).

Just now? That's very interesting timing, because Barouch just joined OC Blues in the USL six weeks ago, and last weekend he scored the goal that qualified them for the playoffs.

Also, is he a US citizen? As of 2011, he was not a citizen (though apparently trying to get citizenship), and he was playing for clubs in Israel and Switzerland for most of the time from September 2012 to April 2016.

EDIT: as of September 2012, according to a Chicago Fire press release about his loan to an Israeli club, he had a green card but was not a citizen. At that point, I'm not sure how he could possibly have become a citizen between then and now.

Yeah, so I don't these things that well. I mean Zelalem got citizenship without being the country, no?

Zelalem's situation was different, as he because a citizen at age 17 when his father became a naturalized citizen. Had he turned 18 before his father was sworn in as a citizen, he would not have been eligible for citizenship.
