Damn... I remember when I watched the U-20 World Cup in 2013 with this person as manager. Korea going 1-2 down to Portugal and then Ryu Seung Woo equalizing.. The joy of qualifying for the knockout rounds.. and then the ecstatic moment after beating dark horse Colombia through penalties and then suffering through a BRUTAL extra time and heartbreak of losing to Iraq on penalties... I will always remember these moments when he was manager. R.I.P.

Damn, I was hoping for a full and healthy recovery so that he can return to managing the Youth NT again. R.I.P. 감독님, you will always be remembered for your achievements with the U-20 and U-23 NT. :(

2012 AFC U-19 Championship UAE: Champions

2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup Colombia: Round of 16

    2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup Turkey: Quarter-finals

    2014 Incheon Asian Games: Champions

did not expect this. I thought he was recovering. Life is so fragile.

RIP Coach. Glad he lead the team through AG gold after a long drought.

He was one of the few really good Korean managers. It's so sad that he passed away.

RIP. Thank you for your contributions for Korean football.

He's got a quality of resume to be in the mix for candidacy for KNT Manager.
So saddened that he won't get the opportunity in the future.

It depends, he needs to gain self confidence when he plays with the national team to become a better player.

I don't trust him, the dude just doesn't have the x factor (lack of personality)

Good yes, but not a top (league) player. In other words...he will never play for a title contender team.

Okay this season he isn't good but previous season he has shown good things. He is still a reliable option for Korea.

I am not sure to understand your question but yes he was a good player (only) last season. It is not as if he was 30, he hasn't 10 seasons behind and he can still improve.
Nevermind, he isn't my favorite striker from Korea but to be fair I don't think he is crap.
