Went to the USWNT game in Chicago and Press did not have a good game. Missed a breakaway shot and her passing was off all game.
I'll be at the Pride vs. Red Stars game in Orlando this weekend. Maybe I can bring the Red Stars some luck.

Well, maybe I did bring the Red Stars some luck last night! Aside from the short storm a beautiful night in Central Florida.
This IS a gamble for Dames as several articles on the net have stated. He has given away high draft picks for next season in a draft that will yield highly touted players all along the board including the likes of Morgan Andrews. But IMO, Dames had to make a move up front if the Red Stars are going to make a play for the Championship this season. Red Stars just seem to have a problem putting the ball in the net without Press. Jen Hoy is a fan favorite in Chicago but just hasn't done much this year. Huerta is struggling as well, but if I were to guess who would take the seat on the bench or even released, it would be Hoy. According to this article in Equalizersoccer.com it seems to have been a mutual agreement on the parting of ways in Boston and maybe a fresh start can do wonders for a talented young striker. Dames will put her to use immediately. In fact if she is in Chicago tonight and in uniform, I wouldn't be surprised to see her come in against the Dash. http://equalizersoccer.com/2016/07/22/red-stars-acquire-mccaffrery-for-picks-intl-spot/ Rory dames seems to be excited to have McCaffrery in Chicago:
this player has not been any good this year. what's rory looking at? maybe he has some kind of chicago magic to revive her?

I guess he truly rates her. I had thought that taking her in the draft as #1 pick in 2015 was strictly some gamesmanship from the Red Stars to get those other outstanding picks, but could be Rory has been interested all along. I would not judge any Breakers player on the season they are having this year - you could suggest mass retirements if you wanted to be harsh. So I think Dames and McCaffrey both think this move could be beneficial, and I'd like to see them both be right. I think he also needs to shake some stuff up with the team. Yes, it is a young team, and we have lost a lot of senior leadership, but there should be enough experience on the team to prevent the frustrating displays such as we saw last week yet again, losing the 3 points in the final minutes.

Sad day for Chicago Red Stars fans. Alyse Lahue leaving Red Stars after 9 years. She has been the guiding force for the Red Stars over the last 5 years as the GM. Taught by no less then two legends in Marcia Mcdermott and Peter Wilt she kept the ship steered for many years. We will miss her. https://alyselahue.com/2016/08/25/8-lightyears/?platform=hootsuite

Feel like there might be something good coming up for her - maybe with the league??? They could use some help.
Wow, miss a little, miss a lot. I was in Florida for a few days, so I missed the game on Sunday and all kinds of stuff happened.
All roads lead to Toyota Park tonight. Red Stars can clinch playoff spot with win. I'm hoping we get a decent crowd for TV. http://chicagoredstars.com/red-stars-unbeaten-run-on-the-line-against-fckc/
Psh, there's no homework the first week of class. Or if there is, nobody takes it seriously yet. Everyone knows this!
