It is only been 3 games into the season and PSG was already have 1 league defeat. This season should be more competitive and closer than people think as Monaco started to show signs of settling in this season and they could pose a strong challenge to PSG.
PSG had a lot of talent on the bench or out injured though. Matuidi, Ben Arfa, The Polish guy whos name I cant spell lol, all started on the bench and Pastore, Maxwell, and T Silva didnt play.
Still not convinced by Cavani and Ben Arfa. Cavani had an impressive finish yesterday on that goal. PSG are still clear favorites to win, just think they blinked yesterday. Monaco have a lot of good young talent. They've really stepped up so far. Impressed. Curious to see how long Lacazette will be out. Would be curtains on L'OL (title hopes) if he's out for a significant amount of the season Still think En Avant Guingamp will surprise and possibly win the league. They really do remind me of Leicester. It's official Ligue 1 has the best kits of any other league. Here's my wantlist so far: 1) Toulouse away 2) Lyon away 3) Dijon Home 4) Bordeaux third 5) Nice home or away On Ultimate Team (FIFA 17) Toulouse will be my home kit probably
Got outbid apparently. http://www.goal.com/fr/news/29/ligu...m-gerard-lopez-jai-beaucoup-parlé-avec-bielsa
Lille sold Boufal to Southampton for £21 million. Southampton Signs Sofiane Boufal From Lille For $27.5M Southampton have signed Sofiane Boufal from Lille for a club record fee that could rise to £21 million ($27.5 million). Southampton’s previous record signing was Dani Osvaldo, who joined from Roma in 2013 in a deal that could have been worth up to £14.6 million. Boufal said: “I’m very, very happy to sign for Southampton and I am really excited to play in St Mary’s stadium in front of the fans. Southampton showed big interest in signing me, and I can see that this club is the best place for me to continue my progression as a footballer. “I hope I can achieve many great things with Southampton. It is a very good club, with excellent facilities, and I feel it is the perfect environment to continue my development.” Boufal scored 12 goals in all competitions in his first full season with Lille as they finished fifth in Ligue 1 and reached the final of the Coupe de la Ligue. http://soccer.realgm.com/wiretap/4421/Southampton-Signs-Sofiane-Boufal-From-Lille-For-$275M
And I read that it was not a loan move for Balotelli as per the original plan, it was a permanent deal which meant that Balotelli has signed for Nice on a free transfer.
Favre did a remarkable job at Gladbach. Brought the best out of that team and developed several players Kramer, REUS, Xhaka, and even revitalized Mike Hanke's magic in front of goal. Not to mention Ben Arfa last year. Excited for this. Also it should boost the league's popularity a bit especially if he starts banging them in. Free transfer too One of my friends (supports Lyon) already does not like this guy. Don't know much about him but guess he didn't do so hot with the LA Dodgers PS- Random stuff, does anyone collect the Panini Adrenalyn Ligue 1 set? I soooooooo want to get back into card collecting but can't or else it drives me nuts
Younes Belhanda was good at Montpellier and Dynamo Kiev. I dont know why he was loaned to Schalke and now Nice but its a really good signing.
its nice to see nice act like monaco they have the fans and stade too bad nice doesn't have monaco money
They revealed McCourt was also interested in buying FC Bordeaux. Also Tottenham back in 2104. Obviously Marseille is a better investment than Bordeaux.
Welcome aboard cool to see another member here! See you're from Colorado. OT but the Avs are my fav hockey team
PSG dropped 2 more pts today. Other contending teams better had capitalize. Monaco with Falcao back in Lille tomorrow. 3 pts or else !
Definitely an interesting start to the season. Its up for debate how much the Ibra factor is playing a part.
Ibra not playing is definitely hurting PSG. He was the focal point of the attack, but since they had so many other quality attacking options, someone was always available to score. Now, with Ibra gone, that X-factor isn't there, so defenses can focus all their attention. Cavani certainly isn't Ibra, so here they are. They'll still dominate the teams at the bottom, but teams with better defenses can keep them in check.
