Start the season off right with a home win against the bulls. They look to be weaker than last season. Don't see why we can't get all 3 points tomorrow

That never was a penalty, that was pure bullshit
Even Miha was happy when Donna saved that one

Good first match overall...some players such as Antonelli, Bertomerda, Adriano and Poli are still terrible and should never play again
Paletta was impressive with his pin-point long passing

I'm happy that Montella proved me wrong
I am officially his number one fanboy
    Best coach since Capello

Apart from Donnarumma's penalty save and Bacca's performance I thought Milan were complete shit.

Looks to be like another season for the dustbin of history.

    You're joking right?
Cuz today we played the best I've seen Milan play in years

    Niang leading the line
Suso with his crazy ass passes
    Bonaventura effortlessly dribbling suckers around
Heck even ********ing Montolivo wasn't bad

Well, new season and new level of stress. How do we conceded almost 2 goals in 4 minutes of extra time and I know it's only first game but not sure what our tactics will be this year. Also, Bertolacci coming off and getting injured right away sucks. But we won, so as always Forza Milan!

Well the goals happened after Bonaventura was subbed for Berto/Poli
Poli just sucks...it's clear how we lost control of the game after he came on

I feel bad for Berto getting injured but I can't say I'll miss him
On the bright side Sosa will have more chances to prove himself

I want to see Gomez play too

Really unfortunate for Bertolacci. Just when this season he could have turned things around and look like his self when at Genoa. Hope he's not out for too long. Milan played well. Lost the plot after Bonaventura came off tho. Donnarumma is a god. Romagnoli looked to be at fault for both goals tho which is worrying

The attacking style of the team is much better than last years possession style. Niang is very good up front as he's shown throughout the preseason games and him and Bacca should lead the attack this year.

My BIGGEST concern is our midfield. Kucka is a monster, Bonaventura is our best player, but I feel like putting him in midfield sort of negates some of his offensive skill and we will live or die by Montolivo. Against bigger teams, I feel like they will out muscle, out run, and out possess our midfield and we'll lose. Hopefully Sosa can add that missing link in midfield. My lineup:
    ------Bacca-Niang------------
    Bona----Kucka-------Sosa
    -------Montolivo------
    MDS-Roma-Gomez-Abate

Oh, and lastly, Donnarumma saves the game on a PK save in the 94th min to secure 3 pts. Amazing. I love that kid

i just hope he can continue to improve. he's got to keep his head down and keep working. over the last few years, my impression has been that there is a major lack of leadership in the locker room so that's a concern for any young player. maybe working with diego lopez will help him stay focused. he has the potential to be an all time great if he can keep his head out of the clouds.

We looked good until we scored the third goal. We really dipped after that. But midfield once again is the core issue. We need investment there.

    That formation is terrible
We can't play with Kucka as our Trequartista and MontLOLivo as our sole midfielder...that's borderline suicide
And I disagree with your assessment of Jack...when playing higher up he tends to waste a lot of attacking chances by trying to dribble and failing

    Not true
After the 3rd goal Bacca almost scored a 4th one from an amazing pass by Suso
It was after Jack went off that we sucked
