    Yeah my thought process was GCam being used as a #6. He seems to always be put where they need him. With 2 knocked up CBs....not a bad destination for a young player to get his feet. But I don't think that will happen. Just a thought.

    It is one thing to be a team fighting relegation where I agree there is great experience for a young defender but Hull appears to be setting it up to a whole new level of terrible. Having said that, Hull, top of the table!

    I disagree Sparky likes C B with some footie skills supposedly miazga is the defender comfortable what the ball on his foot if that is true then miazga would be a good fit Muni is a bit slight to be Premier League Center back remember Sparky replaced the big German Huth with Wally. Clear downgrade defensively but an upgrade offensive on top of that Ryan has health issues with his back that may B terminally

    No offense but I am having some trouble parsing your post. So if I didn't answer your point or misconstrued it, apologies:

    1) Muniesa is tiny but Sparky has no issue playing him as a CB;
    2) Wolly brings nothing offensively (I think that's what you were saying I believe he scored one goal in the past couple years) and is also a big ungainly German although more giraffe than rhino like Huth, lol; wooly also has decent foot skills so he will not replace him on this front and Gcam is better with his feet than Miazga;
    3) ShawX looks like a shadow of his former self but is a bit of an untouchable given his history with the club and prior prowess.

    No doubt and sorry about the terrible grammar, phone posting newb.

    Wooly is not a scorer but he is generally good with the ball on his foot for a CB. Sparky did show some reticence to play Muni last season, he really only played when two others were injured. He was below a broken Cameron on the depth chart.

    It is all probably moot anyway, I jut think it is a better fit than might appear on the surface. I don't know a lot about the premiership, but I do watch a lot of SCFC potters, and just think it might not be a terrible fit.

    Especially if Shawx can't return to his old iron man self.

    This is all based on BS speculation that Miazga is a good CB. I don't know, he wouldn't be the first deeply flawed top 11 MLS player that could not make it in the EPL. His two appearances he sure looked out of place, but CB is a position that does require regular PT so may that played a part in his embarrassing cameos.

    Its not Miazga going on loan to Frankfurt, its the aforementioned Michael Hector. Being out on loan is his bread and butter.

    He should target a club where he projects to be the starter, hopefully he sticks there, and in the subsequent STW, look to be sold into the best situation possible. Don't get caught up in this dream of playing for Chelsea, which will probably turn into a never-ending cycle of loans. That kind of instability isn't good for a player's career.

    It's too bad he's another guy who probably doesn't want to go to a country where he doesn't speak the native tongue, and has an over-reverence of the EPL. Limits his options, and isn't the league to be patient with younger, less experienced players often. Wish he'd have been open to the Eintracht Frankfurt loan. From a competitive standpoint, that seemed like a good situation for him.

    We've been agreeing far too much lately. I don't know what he's doing or who has his ear but he needs to start going 90 at a reasonable level ASAP before he wastes another crucial season in his development. Has all the physical gifts, would like to see him read the game in a top 5 league so that we can understand what he projects as (future starter for the NT or fringe guy?).

    Well, you can still get into arguments with other people, because these opinions also lead to contention with some here. :)

    I thought the loan was squashed as Chelsea wanted him to get PL experience. Otherwise with his parents being Polish and all, im sure theyd support for sure him playing in Germany

    I think it was reported that he wanted to remain within the PL if he could.

    It's not about what his parents want, it's about what he wants. If it weren't, he'd have held out for Poland.

    And Poland isn't Germany. They're just neighbors, and make good sausage. Don't even speak the same language.

    Maybe if the Polish League blows up into a top 4, that would be an attractive alternative to the PL for him. What do you think the chances of that are during his career? :)

    my point was Germany isn't so far from Poland. Lots of Polish players are in the Bundesliga so I'd imagine his parents might like that for him, not to mention loads of Poles there. A home away from home so to speak.

    No need to come off so bullish.

    Isn't his agent kind of shady?

    Biggest thing for him is improving his passing out of the back. In his time last year he looked so awkward on the ball and far too slow with decision making. Can't get away with that at big clubs. But like many I don't see his future at Chelsea, he'll get a chance somewhere and probably a permanent home post 2018.

    Especially where Germany's eastern borders become Poland's western. Then the distance becomes a foot or so.

    Chelsea employed a mentalist to make Eintracht believe that they were actually loaning Jonas Hector.

    In a dramatic new twist, Chelsea player Matt Miazga may be loan out to Leeds United of the English Football League Championship. It's all in it in chronological order.

    Not really sure how close they will be to the promotion battle. Hopefully they are as that can be great for a players development.

    Probably more starting time for them right? t
    tough place to play. not like they're gonna be promoted anytime soon so the pressure shouldn't be that high

    Still very early, but Leeds are 0-2 with a -4 GD and would be relegated to League One if the season ended right now. Miazga could be in a relegation battle.

    Looks like their center-back starters are Ivory Coast international Sol Bamba and Scotland international Liam Cooper, who are the respective captain and vice-captain. Their main backup CB is Kyle Bartley, who is on loan from Swansea. Right back Luke Ayling is their fourth (emergency) CB before Miazga. If the rumors are true, Miazga would likely slide in alongside Bartley as backups to Cooper and Bamba. Initially seems doubtful he would start over the captain/vice-captain unless someone gets hurt. Then again, it would also seem Chelsea wouldn't want to loan him out to a place where he couldn't start, so who knows.

    A piece of trivia: their new starting GK is Rob Green, our old friend who had a howler on Clint Dempsey's attempt on goal in the US-England match at the 2010 World Cup.

    Not looking like a team challenging for promotion so far but plenty of fixtures in Championship so should have no trouble getting games.

    Hate to say this but....if he can't start for Leeds (who could very well be in a relegation battle from the Championship) he's not as bright of a prospect as many of us thought he was when he left MLS.
