    Hey guys,
I hope you don't mind me posting a thread here, but as you don't seem to have a general league thread anywhere, just individual club threads and I wanted to ask about a variety of possible games here. Basically, I'm an American who loves traveling, and also loves futbol... hence, when I travel I always try and make a point of going to a football match whenever I travel. I'm coming to Colombia for two weeks in August and am trying to arrange to see a match while I'm there...

I really don't know much at all about Colombian club soccer, so I was hoping I could get some recommendations on these games... as I'll be coming in on August 12 from Panama City, I was looking at the following fixtures on Aug 13.. I'm still not sure which city I'll fly in from Panama yet:

Millionares vs. Fortazela - if I'm not mistaken, this would be some sort of a derby as they're both Bogota teams, no? I've heard of Millionares, but never the latter team I'm afraid... flights from Panama - Bogota are cheap but in a way I'd like to avoid backtracking back to Bogota as I'm also flying out of there, but this game would be very doable...

Independiente Medellin vs Patriotes FC - this one would be very ideal as I'd be able to fly into Medellin to avoid backtracking to Bogota, and the flights are reasonable I think... i think Independiente are the champions now, now? However, I know nothing about their opponents and whether or not this would be a big game or not.

Atletico Junior vs Rionegro FC - this is one option as I could fly into Barranquilla, although that city is not on my itinerary.. however, it's close to Cartagena which most definitely is and would be nice to fly into the north / exit from the south... however, flights are twice the price from Panama...

Once Caldas vs Deportivo Cali - this would probably be my first choice as I've actually heard of both these teams due to their Copa Libertadores exploits... however, I'm not sure how doable this is as it means busing all the way from Medellin / Bogota; although I did want to visit the Zona Cafeteria anyway... but given that this is not taking place in a city near an international airport, this is probably a long shot.

The following week, Aug 20 is Atletico Nacional vs Millionarios which I'd think would be a good game; however, I have no idea where I'll be by then so would probably aim for a game the previous week.

Anyway, thanks for any advice / help possible - like where to get tickets and stuff... It's probably looking most likely like I'll go to Independiente Medellin vs Patriotes FC, but any advice on these fixture would be most appreciated, and really looking forward to seeing your country Colombia pronto!

millonarios -patriotas wont be a good game, Easy game for The hosts against a team without fans ...maybe millonarios enviroment of fans Will be atractive

    Junior -ríonegro sucks...

Medellín always fill The stadium i think Will be The best option, currency Champions , good football .But The opponent Will be Easy

None of those games involve two big teams unless you can go to Nacional Millonarios on Aug 20. That would definitely be the best game.

Medellin patriotas would be pretty good, expect 25-30,00 medellin fans there.

Millonarios Fortazela could be good too, Millonarios usually has good attendance. I think their fans are a little disappointed with the team right now though.

Thanks for everyone's help... wound up going to Independiente Medellin vs. Patriotas... was a great experience.. nice atmosphere, shame the game was virtually over at halftime with the visitors a goal and a man down... thanks to everyone who responded in the thread.... here's some highlights I got from the game...

    This came out of nowhere.

You sound like an old man who hears part of a conversation and then gives his two cents when no one around him cares.
