Drogba scores. Fate. He's done that 14 times in 16 games against us.

Theoooo had some pretty bad moments in the early going. Not sure if he's very rusty or just bad. Whole attack has been a bit lackluster overall. I do think Jack and Elneny have done some good things. When you think about the prices being spent on players these days, Elneny seems like a pretty nice value even if he's never more than a rotational player for us.

Actually, I think ElNeny can be more than a rotation player if he keeps improving.

Jack has been invisible for most of the match--honestly, I forgot he was playing for a bit. agree about elneny, I think he is quality and if xhaka proves good, it may be those two behind ozil as first choice.

Ox and JC have been good and bielek and Holden were good until drogbas goal--goddamn I thought we were finally rid of him. Overall not too bad, but playing against a team that's had 2 practices together so fwiw...

Elneny could be great next to Xhaka. They compliment each other way.

Xhaka with a long distance shot. Don't get used to it Wenger will train it out of his game.

Probably. It's intentional, and has become much more pronounced over the last few years.

Xhaka is impressive. The rest of this team is toothless

To be fair, the youngsters are in...and I can't tell any of them apart. But even Walcott and the others don't instill much confidence.

    Great.

Xhaka just sent in a decent corner that Holding got a decent header on.

Clearly Holding is now the real deal and we won't need to sign an experienced central defender.

Brilliant overlapping run by Monreal made something out of nothing.

He's been top class for us the past 18 months.

I truly hope we don't see Theo on the pitch this season. He was awful.
