I dunno, I paid a bunch of money to fly in from Chicago for Sunday's game and i'm pretty excited. Sure, it's a bummer the big guys aren't there. But I think most people had to assume with the Euros/Copa this summer that it would be the case before they bought.

Why is Chambers even an Arsenal player? He can't get into our central defense over Bielik?

EDIT: I'm guessing Wenger will serve up the Calum Nachos in the 2nd half after we give up a hat trick to Drogba.

In general? Mertesacker. Tonight? No idea. I'd guess Walcott.

You know, maybe that wasn't official. I think it was just assumed.

It would make sense, since we typically have captains that don't actually play.

Pretty sure Koscielny was named the Arsenal captain. Did I imagine that??

EDIT: Sorry, was just 'rumored' that he would be 'expected' to be named captain.

    LOVE the RED socks

p.s. really soft PK... maybe it'll spur us on to a comprehensive victory, unlike 2 yrs ago in NJ. Already we look way more lively and motivated to win than we did that day.

I think El Neny could become a legit player.

I really don't get his touch and decision making on the ball. I understand he's fast, creates space, and times runs well. But he's so awful on the ball.

    lol, ooooh! OK.

TBH, I thought it was pretty fair. Sometimes those are not given, but it was a foul and without it, Joel is shooting at an empty net. The defender was lucky not to get sent off for DOGSO. He might have been in a real game.

Great! Coq did his knee. Unbelievable.

Edit: he's up and running again? So hopefully not!

That's all he's ever had, straight line speed, nothing else. Seen this for 10 years now...how much more do we need to see to realize that's all he has. Still amazed some like sajid try to defend this guy. It's even more infuriating that the club pay him those astronomical wages for the return he gives....such a waste.
