The RailHawks set a club record of 9,032 fans – a nearly sold-out crowd – at WakeMed Soccer Park on East Chatham Street when the team played Deportivo Toluca FC of Mexico in March. ICYWWondering here's kid @SULLIVANFUTBOL & @gregsimo16 rave on: Nick Taitague - https://t.co/5U007UdxaT Also look for Weston's George Acosta— Phil Schoen (@PhilSchoen) July 14, 2016 Has this kid played for you guys yet?
Yes, he's played in a few games. Not a whole lot of minutes. I think he even played for a couple of the academy games, as well. Was often at academy practices.
Yes, the school is up and running now, but only for middle schoolers. However about the same time that the word was getting out about Accelerator School, Wake County came out with a new (free) high school called Crossroads Flex (http://www.newsobserver.com/news/local/education/article72517962.html ) It's a blended learning school, as well. My son, for example, has to be at the school just 10 hours a week and has to log into the online school for at least 2 hours a day during the week before 4:00. Other than that he's free to train--he works with a personal trainer 2 days a week and then other trainings that come up. Sofar it's great and I think many more academy boys will be attending next year.
