Ya somos dos. It's always(most of the time actually) a pleasure to watch Italy. So tactically rich/savvy. Buffon and the BBC have been playing out this world this tournament.

Antes era muy fanático de Alemania, pero después de conocer gente alemana me caen mal. Son engreídos y fríos sin sentido de humor.

Damn that was unlucky by Buffon:(:cry:. Who do you think is gonna be in the final? I like iceland but a France -Germany match would be a more entertaining semifinal. I Predict that Portugal will "win" the whole thing by drawing everyone.

So no iceland fairy tale then? :(:( Either way I'm looking forward to the GER-FRA game. Too bad Kedhira & Gomez are out for the rest of the tournament.

Íslandia merece un gran aplauso. They have like 300,000 people living in that island, that's the population of Belize (which shouldn't be a country in the first place).

Both Trinidad and Jamaica have more than double that.

    It's really amazing.

I know dude. What bothers me tho is that people (Guatemalans especially) will reduce their accomplishments to intangibles like courage, belief, "amor a la camiseta", "huevos", etc. Instead of looking at the big picture and look at real reasons behind it.

Eso siempre lo tuvieron. Lo que cambio fue que mejoraron su infrastructure more than a decade ago (stadiums with roofs due to climate), their coaching (most pro licensed coaches per capita), se volvieron exportadores (Guðjohnsen and others built their credibility and open the market for future generations), etc.

It's written in the stars, Christy will lift the trophy tomorrow:):p:ROFLMAO::D. Just look at the pattern so far.

Italy hadn't beaten Spain in official competitions since '08...beat them 2-0.

Germany always got eliminated by Italy when facing them in official competitions...beat them on penalties.

France never (?) beaten Germany in international competitions... beat them 2-0.

Portugal has like 40 years without beating the French. Just in this century the French beat them in the semifinals of the Euros '00 & semis of the '06 WC. So tomorrow Portugal will beat them on penalties. Mark my words lol

Puta, llamenme Nostradamus. Le di al resultado y por poco a la forma. Portugal aprendio algo de la final del '04.

Many will argue that they're undeserving, but if soccer was fair, the final would've been GER-ITA.
