Congratulations, Portugal! And good job to Wales, who had a really great tournament. I just wish the game had been slightly more entertaining because tomorrow won't be about entertainment for me. I'm starting to feel so anxious.
Exposed for what? lol. No one is fronting portugal as ranked #1 in the world and no one was spouting that they'd go all the way. But here they are in the final. Stop acting like they stole the tournament.
HAHAHAA YESSS WE ARE IN THE FINALS!!!! Let the damn loser haters hate. When you are at the top the more will come especially if they are lame barca fans lmao..
LoL you should be the one butthurt from lio since you have him as your avatar ,eventhough you're portugese miles and miles away.
Congratulations to Portugal on their win today. Tonight is Ronaldo's night. He scored a superb header, the kind I think only he is capable of scoring (except for maybe Bale). Even if Wales kept a man on the post or if Neuer was in goal, Ronaldo still gets that goal. It was a well worked set-piece, but Ronaldo's quality made all the difference. And he did brilliantly on the second goal too. He knew exactly what he was doing. Superb vision. He and Nani have a good chemistry between them. Ronaldo could very well have scored 4-5 goals today, given his quality we have seen him score on lesser chances. Something about him seems a little off, maybe it's the weight of the occasion, nevertheless it's still a very good performance even if his usual standards are almost superhuman. I think this game was a very even contest from the outset, although Portugal had a slight technical advantage overall. Both teams approached the game cautiously. I think Wales lacked patience today and they really allowed the game to slip away from them the moment they went down. It was only the 50th minute, so there was time on the clock. I also think Bale could have scored from distance, which to me further proves that Wales could have taken things more slowly and committed men forward on a cautious basis. Bale looked more than capable of at least causing a rebound or goalkeeping error from 40 yards out if he got the ball to dip and swerve enough to cause the keeper trouble. He didn't need to hit the ball top corner (e.g., like Luis Figo did against England in 2000), he could easily have put his shots on goal, off-centre enough to catch the keeper on the wrong footing/make him nervous. Also Bale, as good as he is, isn't the greatest passer of the ball. He gets the timing/weight/direction off too often and we saw that today with some poor passes to players in good crossing positions. But he can sure as hell kick a ball and his athleticism/balance is second to few, if any. Portugal's packed defense, even without Pepe and William, was always going to be hard to breakdown given the presence of Renato Sanches and Danillo. Without Ramsey, it was even harder for Wales to break it down. Moreover, Sanches is looking like a young mix of Seedorf/Davids. And he played well beyond his years today. He was holding the ball, drawing fouls like an experienced pro. He looked very mature, except just before he was subbed off, when he took that awful shot which he should have instead laid it up for Nani. For me, he has given Portugal that little edge to tip the balance of scale in games.

Just a coincidence that you're a Barcelona fan getting repped by Barcelona fans and commenting on a semi-final just to troll this one player in a team of 23. That's commitment alright. I wonder if you're just as tenacious in real life on things that really matter though. Most likely not. Great performance by Wales throughout the tournament but I seriously doubt that Ramsey would make any difference in this match. Either Germany or France will be heavy favorites in the final but we have the right to claim that Portugal were the better team in this bracket. Seriously, some of you should learn the difference between being entertaining and being better. Santos tactic/gameplay is focused on nulifying the opponent's team and in the process it sorta nulifies our offensive transition too (2 MCs in the wings - namely João Mário a nr 10 and Renato a box to box -, 2 wingers adapted as strikers). We could be playing a lot better for the quality available in the squad but he can't change the tactic now anyway so it is what it is. Considering that there is a worrying trend of 1 clear penalty per knocknout match (within the 90 mins) that the refs turn a blind eye on and Ronaldo missing sitters, we've been more superior than some people are willing to admit. Heck, even the stats are on our side if some of you are that shallow. Portugal poorly or not met their minimum objectives considering how easy this bracket was. Losing in the final is to be expected, then again so any other team out of this bracket would be considered to.
