what a painful way to exit the tournament....that ********ing sucked for me big time (wow, now I know what the Swiss feel like). but it is, what it is. Thought the game was pretty even throughout - give or take. Congrats to Portugal and good luck in the rest of the tournament.
I thought Portugal showed more ambition compared to the Croatia game. They were the better team from about the 30th minute to the 90th minute. At least today they came to play football so I can't criticize them like last week. Poland is a difficult team and there's no shame in tying them. Is this enough to be champions? Probably not ... Belgium will be their likely next opponent and they have shown more ambition and ability to beat opponents decisively.
Thanks, I was not confident about the penalties at all. Poland is a difficult team to play, luck was on our side today in the end even though it was an even game.
Sorry Poland, you guys should be very proud. In the end in came down to mostly luck. Poland can really build from this.
I would also like to say sorry to JamestheDW1. I have been a Asshole, but you have to understand as a portugal supporter I hear so much negative things on a daily basis. We get defensive because so many dislike us. I think in the end Poland could have very well ended our dream.
You should have said that in my forum so that way I know you are saying it to me and that I know I can take you take you seriously because right now I can not take any of you seriously after how critical and picky you were of my posts.
