Suddenly MORATA seems to the favorite and obvious choice. Has his name even been mentioned in this thread?:laugh:

He might actually. I do see Spain making a run to the final. I have a feeling the final will be Spain vs Italy.

Well, it was hard to predict the scorer a week before the Euro, now after 2 games played it's easier to say Morata, don't you think ;)
Gareth Bale is on the list, so at least I got 1 name right from the leading goal scorers ;):D

I know, just pointing out that it's interesting his name wasn't mentioned after he had a good season and plays striker for a top NT.

So Morata, Payet, Stancu and Bale on 2 goals. You can add Lukaku to that list ... surprised his name hasn't been mentioned considering Belgium is favored to go deep into tournament.

Müller said yesterday after the game that he "shouldve out-scored Bale in the first half alone".

What's going on with Germany @White/Blue_since1860 . They've been very underwhelming in the Euros. They are not scoring many goals. Do you need Lahm to come out of retirement?

Is anyone at 4 goals yet? l wouldn't mind a German player winning it, and Gomez seems to have emerged as our contender with two. Is he within striking distance of the pack or no?

In addition to Ronaldo and Gomez there are 5 other players still in with 2 goals. Romelu Lukaku, Dimitri Payet, Graziano Pelle, Jakub Blaszczykowski, Nani ... I'd keep an eye on Lukaku too since I predict Belgium getting to the final.

Kuba is a winger; you'd like your top scorer to be a forward, and Payet, despite his goals, isn't necessarily a scorer. Nani I just can't see producing the consistent output alongside CR7; dude's like a black hole sucking in all the balls in good scoring positions, and I honestly think Lukaku's in danger of losing his starting spot. Pelle could make a run though.
