The English have looked bright in their opening games and will fancy their chances of winning this game and taking the group. The Slovaks bounced back well against the Russian and Hamsik looked inspired.

No idea which way this game will go.... All four teams can advance which means the permutations are plentiful. Either of these teams wins and they're guaranteed a spot in the round of 16.

England I heard is going to make about 4 or 5 changes!! With Sturridge and Vardy starting for Sterling and Kane!! I would like to see Vardy and Kane as the 2 targetmen up front in a 4-4-2 in a diamond formation!!

In my bracket I have the winner of this group playing Albania next, the 2nd place finisher playing Hungary and the third-place finisher facing Germany in the R16.

So looking pretty good if you finish in the top 2 of this group (of course Hungary could become Portugal).

Excuse my ignorance, but is England basically automatically through since they have 4 points and they'll more than likely be among the best third placed sides if they happen to lose? I don't understand why they would play most of their reserves when they could play themselves into a more favorable matchup. This reminds me of Colombia's approach vs Costa Rica.

Some of these reserves probably deserve to be the starting 11, though. So they'll be fighting hard to show they deserve a start

Red Card. Elbow in the face with blood everywhere, not intentional but still a red card.

England is looking like Arsenal. Trying to slow things down and methodically pick the opposition apart but they may have to be more direct to break down this team.

It's a shame that Ol Man Roy is still tinkering and unsure of his starting 11!! Ok Kane for Sturridge

Your as biased as ITV. If a Slovakian player had done this would be on the front page in The Sun.

Yes England deserves criticism, but let's give some credit to Skrtel, Durica and Kozacik. Some of the blocks and saves were world class.

Pekarik also. Even after all the blood loss, kept marauding down the flanks.

Yeah, but I'm not buying that its just bad luck. This happens in most tournaments with England. They look too static and predictable and they lack a dynamic player that can make a real difference. I mean, if you look at Wales they have guys like Ramsey, Allen and Ledley who are very much England-type players, just at a lower level. But they have that player in Bale that adds a whole other dimension.

England lacks someone that scares defenses. No wonder defenses always seem to look good playing against them. Even Russia's.

we will see what happens when we get attacked then we will know how good this lot are, I know we should have taken Townsend and Carol as we have no plan B, but it looks like many teams have no plan B at this tourney.

Oh and i wouldnt be suprised at all if wales get dumped out by the 3rd place team they draw, They have not played much football, I think we have ignored out roots and played too much at times.

Or Wales v Albania. (which would make for a great atmosphere in the stadium)

If they do have to play Croatia then I wouldn't be so confident. Croatia look a bit naive and I could see Wales getting a goal or 2 on the break or from a set-piece.
