concerning the Howedes, Draxler and Gotze being dropped for Can/Kimmich, Schrrle and Gomez from the other thread. I agree about these changes at least to try out different players in the last game of the group and Northern Ireland will be a team just like Poland who will defend with all their players. Let's see how these changes will affect the overall team also more options for the team going into the knockout stages. Howedes is providing almost nothing in attack and doesn't seem to click with Muller, Draxler is pretty ineffective, with bad crosses and seems to lose the ball easily as he tends to try and penetrate solo and Gotze also tends to lose the ball easily whenever he gets it and his runs/placement aren't always good just seems like a player playing out of position and not sure what to do/where to go.:p

What does that mean? They didn't practice offense?

I've seen enough of Gotze in the last 3 years, n I'm very certain he can't start for any elite team

I think Hoewedes as a right back cause a few problems

    1) Mueller need to stay on the right flank more n limit his game. He need to help Howedes defensively n offensively , makes him less eager to play centrally

    2) we need Mueller at CF without Lahm in that setup

    3) Sane? Worth a try?

I would want to see sane ! , Jogi can always bring Schweinie in at half time move Kroos up into 10 abd oezil over to replace sane if he did not play well enough in the first half .

We don't even need to play this game, we should just come home tonight and start preparing for 2018

I know that we've been playing world class football since August 2014.... So we shouldn't bother critisizing or venting here..

We're going to win the euros 15-0. Got it

I get that you're upset and pessimistic, but for all the chronic negativity, we're still first in the group and in a position to advance. Maybe try to throw a nugget of positivity in every once in a while?

Why is it always about Götze? He was playing out of position. The other offensive players who were actually playing in position (Müller, Özil, Draxler) were just as bad. Gomez played for 20 minutes and didn't do anything either. How is it Götze's fault when the entire offence isn't working at all?

Götze is a midfielder. He shouldn't be playing striker. I don't care what went wrong for him at Bayern with Guardiola. I've seen him play for Dortmund for three years and he was one of the best players in the league. He just needs to get regular playing time again (but not as a striker at the Euros).

Urghhhh ... Way to much bitching here !!!!

Anyway I recon we will see a different Germany , still might only win 1-0 but it will be a different game . Germany has always had hard games against east Europeans teams ...
We probably will face another east European team in the second round . As soon as we play a more attacking team we will see how good they really are .

We have our World Cup trophy, now I really want to play Italy and finally beat them. There's no better time for that than now.
