https://footballfutbolcalciosoccer.blogspot.com/2016/06/euro-2016-preview-group-d-spain-czech.html Feel like the Croatians should be favourites and I think they should win but the way this tournament has gone who knows. Given the defensive display against the Spanish, I'd like to see the Czechs play a better brand of football and the Croatians to show a more clinical touch in front of goal.
Czech Republic needs to attack more now, so naturally Croatia will play maybe defensive, this could go wrong, Croatian defeat or a draw changes everything. Almost every team starts with only one attacker, which is becoming boring to see.
I think Croatia is the best passing team in Europe after Spain and Germany. Where they lack a little bit is team speed especially in the back, but most teams in this tournament don't have the players to exploit that. At least not until later in the tournament if they eventually play France or even England ...
Croatia open the scoring after looking reallllly good for most of the match. Took advantage of defenders backing instead of stepping into the attack. 1-0
Is it just me or is Croatia the only team in the tournament who can generate chances consistently ... It's a breath of fresh air to see a team with so many good ideas on how to get the ball into dangerous areas.
They look more comfortable against Czechs than Spain did. I think that Croatia-Spain game can be critical test to see if Croatia is for real. Just like Poland proved themselves by standing up to Germany, if Croatia gets at least a point there they have to be taken seriously.
Really nice header, but a slightly odd piece of goalkeeping in that he never really made an attempt to save it. He may not have kept it out anyway, of course.
Stupid fans broke the momentum of their team. To be fair the majority of Croatian fans booed the incident. Really stupid. I know there's legitimate complaints against the Croatian FA, but the middle of an important game is not the time to address it.
