Jones has always been a bit of a hot head but if you wanna complain about the offsides you need to post a gif showing it I watched the game including the replays of the calls and the calls looked close but correct
When USA scored they did a half hearted goal yell but when ecuador scored I could have sworn they were celebrating for a good 2 minutes.
Says the guy whose team doesn't win at home or away....sorry when was the last time Peru beat Argentina in buenos aires? I didn't know there was altitude there....
Smh don't listen to that guy... All teams lose while away, and nobody says anything.. But when Ecuador loses away, it's because we weren't in Quito.. smh..
I'll be happy when los chilinitos get their arrogant one trick pony team eliminated by Mexico . I guess the glory days are over? Pizzi came in and the team fell apart, it looks like Borghi's the coach again.
ecuador may be lacking right now but I'd hardly consider them the whipping boy everyone here is dubbing them. Again where was the altitude in buenos aires or Lima the 30 years straight we were grabbing points off them?
The punch didn't really connect, but I understand the red card. You shouldn't be even TRYING to punch someone there. Valencia was already off. Just settle down and you win 4-1 with 11 v 10. That moment of madness nearly cost the USA the game.
CHilenitos? At least we have one title? Ecuador? O And read my post. I said ROldan refed horrible both ways. He made mistakes both ways.( Just so you know I am a ref at the youth level as well)
I just heard that the semifinal crowd at Seattle was 44K, whereas the final group match in Philly was 51K. OK, we're talking Thursday vs Saturday, and maybe the ticket prices were even higher for this match. But this was the quarterfinal for gods sake! In what is largely considered to be the American city & stadium with the best, most passionate soccer fans. And yes, the 44K fans that were there did make some good noise. But I for one am surprised that there wasn't a bigger turn out. Edit: Meanwhile tomorrow's COL-PER match is sold out at 83K in NJ.
. Buying the cup from your opponents and bribing refs doesn't count. Chile won one cup AT HOME and they think they're king of the world , again how's the glory going bro? A sketchy win versus Bolivia that had your team against the ropes, a nice win by Argentina and a win against a weak Panama side that also had Chile on the ropes for a quarter of the second half.
I love this bro, so five years from now when chile's best players retire and Chile gets stuck at the bottom of the table are you still gonna be talking about your one title? It's good Chile won no doubt , my real beef are how arrogant Chileans are in general.
