In a press conference held at FAM House today, President Ahmed Thariq said that it was the best solution for both parties. “For the time being it was the best solution. Be interesting to know what the expectations are of some of these federations. I'd suggest their best bet is to try and get a manager with a strong technical director background and look to develop a strong youth development system that hopefully builds towards a strong national team in 10 years or so. Really they need to know that they'll never be a powerhouse, so they need to dictate what it is they want to achieve with tactics, style, development and results (to an extent).
