Oh, I would rather finish second in the group and I could make the trip up north for the QF game.

And the USA group, Klinnsy better start looking for a new job.

Nah, I've been supporting Argentina since 1978 so I'm stuck with them. :)

There's bigger chance Argentina will be in final again and Brazil not. But off course we will probably fail to score again or lose on shootout, you just have the feeling its going to be the same story. 2004, 2006 (QF) 2007, 2014, 2015..... although I always support them. For me its Argentina or nothing.

The likes of Lavezzi, Tevez and Banega... they're out of date. Demichellis ? wow.

Luckily Messi and Masche dont have to play CL semis and final. But then again...there are many Argentines on that list that made it to the last four.

I was wondering the same thing, is he injured?

Makes sense to keep Dybala for the Olympics hopefully he can be the star turn at that event.

For those that missed the final list....

So it appears Dybala and Correa have been saved for the Olympics... I'm kinda looking forward more to that tournament to be honest, just to start seeing new faces.

Vangioni and Pinola both forced out of the list due to last minute injuries. Sucks for them, specially Pinola who had been in great form for a long time now.

Victor Cuesta, who didn't even feature in the original preliminary list, has been selected to replace Pinola... Kinda surprising that he's going and not Mussachio (who was on the preliminary list) or even Garay. Go figure...

No Zabaleta... it will be our first tournament without him since, what... World Cup 2010? Lets see how the new guys do... One assumes Mercado will be the starter, with Roncaglia as the alternative.

No Demichelis either... it seems the old generation is finaaaalllly starting to die out.

Guzman is a disaster... Romero is no Buffon, but for our sake lets hope he remains healthy because Guzman really is that bad. Still amazing that Barovero and Rulli aren't even considered as one of the 3 keepers while these clowns regularly get called up.... makes you realize the interests there are in football.

VAMOS ARGENTINA CARAJOO!!! La copa es nuestra!

It's incredible that Romero is still our no.1 goalie even though he hasn't been first choice at club level for years.

I am sick to the stomach about Dybala and Correa not getting called up. I know they are probably going to the Olympics, but Copa is a senior tournament.

I was hoping to see Messi-Dybala-Icardi partnership at sometime....looks like we get to see Higuain and Aguero one more tournament.

I hope Higuain brings his Serie A form to this tournament --- Messi will again be the only creative outfit, seemingly.

Icardi deserves a call up, I know he's a dick but it's his footballing ability he should be selected on, not his personality.

It's interesting what the current Napoli manager said he told Higuain before the start of the season. He told him he was lazy and could be so much better. It clearly worked, let's hope he brings that form to the Copa. Vamos Argentina.

He always score for Argentina too you know... he always saved the best prior to the final.

and then the final came, he'll miss a tap in, a volley and a penalty.

But I hope he'll score a bicycle this time from halfway line.
