There is King Saud University Stadium. It's beautifully designed, I hope there are plans to use it starting from next season.

Al Ittifaq and Mojzel to play professional league next year. Good to see the old horses back. I dont know how will Mojzel perform.
Also , Ahli vs Hilal today which will decide the league once for all. Ahli holds slight advantage of playing home and also seen as overpowering Hilal in last couple of matches

I was watching the 2nd half of the promotion battle. Really exciting. I'm glad Itti made it, and as I said I don't know enough about Mujazal but I heard they were in 2nd division in 2013, so they are definitely an interesting team from small town.

As for Ahli vs. Hilal: historically Ahli is the team to choke the most in these occasions, however I think they will finally win their long-awaited league title by not losing today. Hilal have been terrible for a while.

Congratulations to AlAhli, deserved this victory. For AlHilal, Jhafli was the worst player on the pitch and then it was the Goal Keeper. Al Hilal really needs a better goalie than Shrahili.

Hilal problems are way deeper than just GK and Jahfali (who was strangely nervous in this game). Donis' inconsistency with his lineup hurts the team, and there is a dead weight that needs to be offloaded (Abdulazizi Dawsari for example), players who never seems to progress (Salim Aldawsari), and others who are good but are not always 100% disciplined or making the right decisions (Salman Alfaraj/N. Alabed..).

Ahli deserved the title, but to be honest it was "who is less worse will win it", especially in the 2nd half of season where they were inviting each other to win the title and losing way too many points for a "leader". Anyway surely first league title after 32 years is a beautiful story, let's see if they can build on that in the coming years.

BTW the league now has 5 different winners in the last 6 years, which certainly adds an element of excitement and unpredictability to the league, Hilal and (less likely) Ittihad may comeback stronger next season so this number may even get bigger!

    Just a comment on a the Wehda 1 - 1 Shabab match.

I think this is the first time in my life that I'm disappointed we only got a draw. Al Wehda must have the worst strikers in the league.

I mean, our goalscoring records look like this:

    Ali Awaji (10 Goals)
    Jihad Baour (3 Goals)
Everyone else ( 2 goals or less)

Ali Awaji and Jihad Baour (OUR CENTERBACK) have over half the goals scored of our entire team! If it wasn't for Awaji, Wehda would be in Hajer's place right now.

So our rivals finally wins the league. Credit goes to the management . They did not go to re-shuffle the whole squad from last seasons disappointment, but actually kept the same players with few minor changes which made the team intact and know each other very well. Ahli fans also made a crazy atmosphere in the stadium during the game which in turned pressurized Hilal.
One thing good about the big matches now is, the home team specially Ahli and Ittihad are getting enough seat allocation for fans to create pressure on visiting teams unlike the seat allocations were done when the matches were played in Prince Abdullah Stadium.

So Najran relegates after drammatic last minute equaliser from Jufain Bishi.. Raed survives for another season..
