I don't disagree.... but what does my head in is that Pepe, Marcelo and Ramos have been defenders at this club for 8-10 years now. One would think they'd have figured this defense thing out by now.
Well they are playing different roles. But our best winger along with bale yeah.and more infuential than Isco at this moment Altho Isco did good today
Danilo had a horrible first half, but he bounced back big time to have a great second half. He did the same thing mid-week (poor first, decent second). He may suck, but he fights. I guess that is admirable.
The hit in Bales calf was suppose to be second yellow for one of their defenders They were butchering us and the ref did nothing
Bale was fantastic, that second goal was vintage Bale. Glad he's back, when he's fit he's just incredible. Now please stay fit for the final few matches... Lucas is our new Callejon (Lucas is a better dribbler, Callejon has more intelligent runs). Danilo should be frozen out. I'm done defending him. Even his throw-in gave Rayo a final chance in the game. On to the next one!!
The last 10+ minutes after the goal were really impressive. They got one chance when we were sloppy, but that's it. Rayo is actually really strong going forward. Defended like champions.
We unfortunately have no one that can back up Casemiro in that role. Zizou is trying to manage his minutes because he went up from playing sparse minutes in the first half to becoming a starter in the second half. Something that needs to be addressed in the summer (along with the eternal needs for a back up striker and a back up LB).
