I was really impressed with Rezende of Miami, he was actually creating chances often and looked dangerous at times. Otherwise this game was all sloppy defending by Rayo, I'll say the wet turf probably didn't do anyone any favours but that works both ways. You gotta get Boateng some help in transition, or games will always be too close for comfort.

I agree. Too much defending and counter-attacking for a team that's supposed to be an attacking team. But I'll take the win!

Yeah they need someone to relieve that pressure. It's been that way for the last three matches. The line up had them in a 4-3-3. When did they switch to a 4-5-1?

The attack started con Rayo por las siete y punto EST. Then it cooled off for a bit and let the players take the field...

WAY too much defensive shell play in the 2nd half. Almost gave the game away. But I'll take the win! At Coach Marcina's very first press conference he said we will be an attacking team, not a defensive counter-attacking team. But it seemed like that's what we were for most of the game? Any thoughts on that? I know we didn't have Sebastian Velasquez or Marvin Chavez, due to injuries.
Was that why it didn't seem we were on the front foot most of the night?
    Was that just my perception?
Did Miami FC have a lot to with that?

You mentioned some key factors with the midfield absentees. Part of it was coaching as well, when you have a lead its important to be able to shut down and hold it, which the team hasn't figured out yet. Additionally, in the condition the field was in may have been a factor in the offensive drive. I recall even Boateng having difficulty shipping the ball away because he wasn't getting under it enough, some times when your in a swamp you don't want to slip and sink.
