Anyone who takes that job immediately drops several notches in my eyes, before the first training session. I was a Colantuono fan once, for example.
Was just reading online that both Serse Cosmi and Stefano Colantuono were given their first coaching oportunities by Luciano Gaucci. Maurizio Zamparini is almost a worse character than Gaucci was....
I think its more of a saving face maneuver to show the fans he mean business. Replacing him with Simone Inzaghi who is already on the clubs payroll , he doesn't have to pay an extra salary as Zamparini is doing with 3 different coaches.
Of course. Only that I saw on Rai how Palermo fans have finally had it with Zampa. I think the novelty of how he got them in the Serie A after over 30 years is wearing off.
Diego Lopez rumored to be taking over for Corini... http://www.fiorentina.it/diego-lopez-nome-buono-la-panchina-del-palermo/
Baccaglini fires his first manager as president of Palermo. It only took 5 weeks. As always, the problem with complaining about the Palermo coaching carousel is that 90% of the managers deserve to be fired. Lopez is definitely in that group. But that now makes 5 managers for the season. Still short of the (depending on how you count) 8 last season, but also way too many.
