Low needs to stop this crap of playing DM's and CB's as FB's. Can was awful today.... and is a significant defensive liability while providing only a moderate impact going forward.

Gomez and Kroos both had good games.....

Love the new kit though ....

We played well in the crucial 3-1 home game against Poland. I am not that worried yet, Löw's biggest strength as a coach is preparing the team before the tournament. Qualification has always been somewhat rough under him, 4-4 against Sweden, anyone?

Also, the last time we did well in friendlies before Euro 2012 (amazing 3-1 against the Netherlands), we then pretty much crapped the bed at the tournament.

To me it seems like Löw is still fielding the setup of when we still had Lahm. Like we're fielding Messi, Ronaldo and Neymar but in defense some 2nd Buli players. Now it seems like we are so offense orientated that the two average talented fullbacks could not defend all the space even if they wanted to.

I counted at least 4 horrible passes that gave the ball away and lead to dangerous counterattacks. England didn't make anything of it but that's not due to Kroos.

Reus and gotze need to sharpen up, ozil has little influence in the 10 position so I see kroos being advanced as I don't see as a holding midfielder as his lack of pace and agility exposed that against England, it will be interesting against italy who will be a bigger challenge

    Hi all ....
So looking at our defence against England it's clear that our defence is not good enough or experienced enough to win the euros .

If you look in the past teams with the best defence record wins the tournament . Spain , Greece , Italy and even Germany in the last WC.

Loew played at some point 4 CB at WC but he played the 4 best defenders we had even if they were not in their normal position ... Just hear me out .

Please note I am not saying just field the best players available even if out of position , I am saying fielding the best team , with experience and people who can fulfil the same role maybe just better as they have the experience .
I am talking about our left/ right full or wing backs what ever you want to call them .

Previously players that have played DM also played right or left backs.
E.G Lahm , Alaba, Durm , Bender, grosskreutz, Durm , Ginter , Can etc....

What I am saying is who says Khedira and Schweinie can't play as well as Can, Hector , Durm, Gintner on left right back position.
Schweinie used to be right wing , then DM why not right fullback .

What about this .... As long as we don't concede , Germany will always score a goal or two ...

    ---------- Neuer----------
    ------Boateng-Hummels-
    Schweinie --------Khedira
    ------Kroos----Gundogan
    Muller ---oezil ----Reus
    ----------Gomez

Subs --- Kramer / goetze/Schurrle/Draxler and maybe Hoewedes if fit Can , rudiger etc....
