Is he still with America de Cali, has he been getting playing time? What a waste, would love to see him at a place like Deportivo Cali or Independiente Santa Fe because they play Copa Libretadores

They should have sold him to PSV 2 seasons ago. Teams in Colombia can not be saying no to 1.5 million + euro. Huila only recieved 400k for Lerma loan. I don't think if they buy him they will even get 1 million for him. some of our teams just get greedy and we never hear about that player again

They should have sold him. Is there any America fans here? Is he getting minutes? At thia point i wish they would at least loan him out to say Nacional or Santa Fe, I'd say Cali but obviously they would not, because they'll be playing so many matches due to la Libretadores that sure he'll get minutes even as a sub in the league matches....

But this hurts, its starting to feel like another young player being squandered yet again...

After looking about the Internet I've found he is actually in the books as a player for Club Tijuana of Liga MX but is being loaned to America de Cali, i guess a similar deal to what Borre, Atlético Madrid and Dep. Cali have.

that sucks..... no way Tijuana paid more then the 1.5 million euro PSV offered. Plus if he does remotely well he will have to go to mexico haha

I don't know what they paid for him, but just read that he was on their books as an out on loan player.

I hope he does well for America de Cali and help them get back to La A and it wouldn't be so bad for Colombian football if he went to Mexico and does well there.

But yeah doubt America got as much as PSV offered...

Its just a dream but would love to see him have a stellar season with America and then go have a stellar all league type of season with Tijuana and some how get sold to PSV at the end of that.... PSV have a great reputation for developing young players

should have just sold him instead of being greedy. America are in no position to try to develop anything right now, they have way bigger issues to deal with. Any decent prospect is bound to get caught up in all the garbage that's going on over there, just a waste of time.

cualquiera de los dos equipos me entusiasma. Esta transferencia seria muy buena para el porque acá no le están exigiendo los suficiente defensivamente, y si algún día quiere acabar en una liga bien fuerte debe mejorar mucho en ese aspecto.

Very anxious to see him play for Nacional. We are a better vitrina for him. If he'll do well with us, he'll go abroad like the rest. The kid is very talented in positions we are lack of quality players. We bought 70% of his rights for $2M, seems a bit cheap to me.

I heard he started and played okay for Elche. Surprised nobody around here mentioned it though.

@ryu79 this thread needs to go to the players abroad section.

thought his transfer was being challenged by the old Mexican club that wants money for him
