And another PK who should have been a FK since the foul was outside the box, but i need to give credit to the australian diver who play good act and to the ref who get lured.
Well let's be fair, that wasn't a dive. He was fouled, and fell into the box. Was 100% the ref's fault for calling it a penalty when the point of contact was outside the box. But we're talking about split seconds and centimeters here, so until we have real video replay technology, these kinds of mistakes/close calls will keep happening.
AFC CL Matchday 1: Shanghai SIPG vs Melbourne Victory (1-2) Guangzhou Evergrande vs Pohang Steelers (0-0)
I agree, the real video and in this case where the play was stop just after this wouldn't have consequance on the following action, after watching the action multiple time im must said i was wrong about the diving, but if you play fair, don't need to lift the arm after rolling about 10 feet from the point of impact. lets just hope now this game will serve SIPG for preparing the next game.

Chinese League still have some problems to sort out. I knew Jia League was still one of the most corrupt leagues in the world, but thought the Super League had improved: http://www.igamingbusiness.com/news/hkjc-refuses-take-bets-new-chinese-super-league
Chinese Super League has improved massively. I think it's just some of the bad reputation that China has earned from its match-fixing scandal years ago that is still putting some companies off the league.
Good grindy win by Jiangsu today. I caught the first and the beginning of the second half. Jeonbuk were dominating up until I left despite Jiangsu being 1-0 up, but seems like I missed all the action. The commentators really are annoying though. My god. Kept complaining that the Chinese players shouldn't be trying to dribble, just should pass the foreigners. Complete lack of understanding of the concept of a team game. What a bunch of muppets.
today i watch 1st half and begining off second half of Shanghai game, something is so different with european football is the distance btw midfield block and attacking block, both are quiet far from each other , maybe because of the size of the picth, Shanghai played very long ball to Elkeson instead of sometimes try to keep a little bit more the ball and build from the back. otherwise, that what i like with CSL teams, always running around, Jleague style of the early - mid 2000, i think with time and quality foreigners mixed with chinese players who learn to play more constructive football style, the CSL will be one of the 10 top league in the world in few years. One more word about Shanghai Shanggang, WU LEI you ROOOOOOOOOOCKS !!!!!!!!!
We'll see if he can step it up consistently against continental competition. He's been disappointing at best in international performances with the NT thus far. I'm honestly surprised at the poor level at which Evergrande is playing at right now. Preseason or not, the league starts in a few days and they were fully out of gas by the 70th minute yesterday. Both SIPG and Shandong look ready to go.

Same as Benzema with France, the guy really perform well with club but not with NT, i think eriksson prefere Wu Lei sucks with NT and rocks with Shanggang. Talking about Hengda, my point of view is the team didn't really have a great pre-season, Martinez will struggle (lets hope im wrong) to find his real position in i think the 1st month or so of the CSL, 42M€ is an heavy burden that could make him be under heavy pressure or not. He show he can't dribble with the ball, lack of speed (for the moment, to much Baozi, Jiaozi and other stuff in zi), lost ball because of poor ball control, want to do all by himself, and he get to low on the picth when you are on offensive mode, the striker must be at the very top of the 4-3-3 not coming back on the middle to touch the dam ball, he is strong, he must play like a rock and like a fox when he is in the box, Gourlat, Huang Bowen, Zheng Long etc... will find him. Shandong Luneng, very patient team who take their time to build something, even if sometimes the defense is a little bit light. Tardelli is on fire even if he could make better choice while on 1-1 with the keeper. Hope Aloisio will have playing time and that he will be as productive as last year. The teams im looking for to be maybe a good surprise i hope are both promoted teams Hebei ($$$$$) & Yanbian. Jiangsu if they play like the supercup team they will struggle to achieve the top 3. Beijing will be Beijing i think, a contender for ACL spot, no big waves during pre-season maybe is a good sign. Shenhua will be always Shenhua, no plan at all like always, next year probably new coach new foreigners, for their sake i hope the board will have one day the brain to think at least not long term but for th next 2 or 3 season instead of the 6 moth ahead.
Aloisio just returned after injury and scored in a training match. Ersam was in the spotlight against R&F.
