it was good to see Zhang Chengdong being the first Chinese player to play in La Liga.

however, as @zdrstvte posted, Zhang Chengdong might be offloaded (return to Beijing) due to financial/sponsorship reason.

for the past two years, we have seen alot of chinese players (of different age) going to Portugal (of different tiers). Li Yuanyi and Xu Xin have returned back to China. while we have a greentown player named Gao Huaze who might have a chance to go for Chievo Verona.

please post any oversea news here.

Apparently, he won't be allowed to play until next season since he's already appeared for Desportivo and Oliveirense this season and a player can't play for 3 teams in one season.

Don't forget Sun Xiang who had a short stint at PSV, I think he was the first to play in Holland actually before making his way to Austria Wien

Bad game from Zhang today, very poor touches and pretty bad movement overall. He did have a decent shot towards goal but didn´t manage to curl it enough to hit the target. He looked pretty nervous on the field, hopefully that will go away soon.
