Very cool! South Americans LOVE their Mizunos, especially the 'older' guys. I remember Aimar going so far as making a pair of Morelias into 'Pumas' because of his sponsorship. That's pretty crazy.
Yep, I remember that too. he did a pretty good job "spatting" the Puma formstripe onto the stripped down Morelia, but couldn't hide the outsole.
Was watching Leicester City vs WBA and i was really curious when i saw Craig Gardner's boots. Pics taken from the game against Crystal Palace shown them more clear. I am not familiar with Nike boots , it looks like a custom and folded tongue? I do like it even i dun wear Nike now days.
It just looks like the normal tongue on the Nike Hyerbvenom Phinish : As you can see from the tongue one this picture its split into 2 (well 3 if you could see the other side to) and basically the side you can see by the lace loop is a long loose bit that tucks into the boot to keep with the fitted tongue it just looks like Gardener hasn't tucked his in. Its hard to explain unless you see the boot in the flesh but hopefully you get the general idea. He might just prefer not to tuck them in as he ties his laces. I'd show you mine but the fit was funny so they donated to a friend and I'm back in the socks! appleCORR
Harry Kane & Ross Barkley both have modified Hypervenoms, Kane for example prefers the tongue of the Nike Mercurial Vapor IX. So it's possible Gardner's boots could be modded.
I saw Arda Turan on the ground yesterday and they showed a close up of his soleplate. Looks like he's an interact user as well. Here's a pic I found of him at a photoshoot.
