What's up guys i haven't been able to see as many games as i would like but we should definetely appoint wim jonk as the technical director for all the youth clubs. and definetely try and have our straat voetbal translate well into the field. Second for the qualification it's pretty soon our first qualifier is like in september against sweden a must win. assuming guys are healthy i would like to see a return to the 4-2-3-1 and sneijder disappear. the rise of kishna and promes. what formation and team you guys think blind will play?
As Cruyff kind of explained 4-2-3-1 isn't necessarily an optimal formation and kind of limits creativity. The 4-3-3 and 3-4-3 are, in theory, the perfect formations to use. If Strootman's recovery is on track and he doesn't have a set-back this time our team could actually look quite good for qualification. I would go with something like this: Janmaat - Veltman - van Dijk - Willems Blind Clasie - Strootman Robben - Memphis - Promes It is kind of perfect in the sense that it allows us to be a 3-4-3 in attack and 4-3-3/5-4-1 in defence depending on how much work Robben/Promes are willing to put in. We could also easily put Wijnaldum on the left wing (where he's been very effective for Newcastle) because he has a lot of industry. Blind would be a good outlet for deep passes, but is more for link up between the CBs and midfield and then he drops back between them or aids them in a deep triangle while Janmaat and Willems maraud forward (and his experience as a CB helps): Veltman - Blind - van Dijk Janmaat - Clasie - Strootman - Willems Robben - Memphis - Wijnaldum Meanwhile on defence we have the numbers and smart enough players for the right positions to move back and defend while still offering a good transition from defence to attack with our outside players coming back to collect the ball and run/pass: Janmaat - Veltman - Blind - van Dijk - Willems Robben - Clasie - Strootman - Wijnaldum Memphis For me this is the ideal, and with the players available (assuming we can keep some semblance of health) it's a team that could make big waves at the next WC. Robben might need to be replaced though with his age/injury history by maybe Promes or perhaps someone will emerge between now and then to really take over that spot.

Snijder still should be called up IMHO very good player and only 31 still has plenty of gas in the tank Also depending on the style the manager selects I think players like Luuk de Jong can be a decent choice has been having s a decent season I honestly think that you guys have some decent choices up top if you don't mind attacking midfielders playing a little more advanced Robben El Ghazi Robben Wijnaldum Then you still have Luuk de Jong, Huntelaar, and Kramer

Can i criticize previous formations without being attacked by other users? @Frysk Bloed : your best formation is the first but i don't think Memphis should play CF. Hunter, Persie, Dost are better options. Also Veltman isn't enough good for the nt, he makes mistakes too often. @CDPontaDelgada : The defence isn't good. Indi, Veltman, Tete aren't really Dutch nt material. Robben should play always as right winger as he does not on the left and Luuk de jong despite is scoring actually i don't think has enough quality to be our striker.

You wouldn't have Strootman in there? He's training again. Wijnaldum really seems to be finding form in the EPL as a left winger/midfielder. Could be a good complement to Robben if he keeps it up and is used there for the NT (not sure if they actually watch player performance or not). I also think that Veltman is still better and more consistent than van Beek. Janmaat - van Dijk - de Vrij - Willems Clasie Sneijder - Strootman Robben - ??? - Wijnaldum The striker is the big question. Do we keep throwing up options like Persie, Huntelaar and Dost even though, IMO, they don't work and aren't dynamic enough for today's game? I would prefer to see Promes, Memphis or El Ghazi tried there for a decent stretch.
Yeah that's true, assuming he is fit I'd replace Klaassen with Strootman. I also agree with dropping van Persie and Huntelaar, they aren't players we can build on and they don't offer enough anymore to warrant a spot in the squad where I think Sneijder and Robben are both players that can still play an important role. As for Veltman, I need to start seeing good performances in Europe and less mistakes in my opinion. My starting XI as of right now: Cillessen Karsdorp van Dijk van Beek Willems Robben Clasie Strootman Wijnaldum Sneijder Promes Couple of notes: I'm not sold on the defense, I'd be open to changes there. As for the 4411, definitely not my favorite formation but it could get the best out of our current players, and would have a stronger midfield which wouldn't be overrun as easily as it has been lately.
