They haven't opened up half the upper deck yet. NYRB looks like it'll be close to a sellout. Looks like they can open a few rows in the upper deck, but everything else is sporadic, and there's virtually nothing in the lower bowl. The only mass tickets left for Vancouver are in the club seats. Outside the club area, there are 190 tickets left, almost all individual seats scattered through the bowl. FC Dallas isn't selling through Ticketmaster, but with how they've been drawing lately, I don't see how they'll have a problem.
Not sure what you mean here. FCD has drawn pretty meh all year and always have worse crowds in the playoffs when there are no season tickets left and fans don't even know there's a game.
It doesn't help that the Dallas Cowboys will be playing a home game that same day, only an hour and a half later. That's 100,000 sports fans there. I expect dismal attendance for FCD.
Metroplex sports fans be like. Watch Texan n U.S.A. World Cup Captain Clint Dempsey lead his Seattle versus our local home team in a big playoff game or watch a regular season Cowgirls game sans Romo. Oh the tough decisions in life.
If San Antonio comes to MLS before Sacramento, I might get a little murderous ... CLARIFICATION: City in agreement with MLS to create path to team. Spurs Sports and Ent. would be parent company. Smart management choice.— Ellie Banks (@ellierosetx) November 4, 2015 @COSAGOV and @BexarCounty splitting $18 million cost of Toyota field. Apparently the big Nascar race is this weekend also. Not sure those audiences cross over but the Cowboy game and race will surely gobble up all the sport story oxygen. How many MLS cities compete with NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL and have a big auto and horse racetrack?
Dempsey who? I'd cheer a bunch of high school kids against the Eagles. So yeah, that game will cast a giant shadow.
Keep telling you, Sacramento has appeared too desperate. You need to make MLS want you by flirting with the other leagues (pretend to be interested in NASL, for example).
I'm not objective by any means, but ATL UTD v. SEC and Georgia Tech football is going to be ... a challenge
Don't they have to put Minnesota in the East to face Chicago? So you get Sac and SA + LAFC west, and ATL MIN MIA in the east. All balanced, my friend.
Does NFl, MLB, NBA, NHL, lacrosse (both leagues), and some of the best ski resorts in the world count?
No. Quit making it all about the Rapids. (also, you forgot amazing hiking trails, rock climbing, fishing, all the 14ers, microbreweries, and legal marijuana)
http://www.twiceacosmo.com/2015/11/...re-coach-alen-marcina-punlic-airport-facepalm you mean San Antonio the team that fires their coach in public?
I'd recognize you as an Agender soccer fan that somehow supports FC Dallas but that doesn't really narrow it down with your people.
@JeremiahOshan we sold 128 in our pre-sale. A few more via FCD directly— ECS Travel & Home Tickets🌟🌟 (@ECSTravelMonkey) November 5, 2015 Good away contingent from Seattle.
SA and Sac will come in together for the 2020 season. Seems clear to me. Anyways, fearless playoff prediction time. Montreal will beat Columbus, and they will beat NYRB to represent the east. Drogba will score only 1 goal in these 3 matches. Production will come from secondary sources, with Didier running interference. Book it.
Just what does this mean? Have no clue what you are saying. I'm simply pointing out a fact. American Football is king in the state of Texas, where it is followed more fervently than anywhere else in the US. I'm not happy the schedule makers have placed the games so close together.
Announced yesterday the 750 tickets in the Timbers away section have been sold. That's great considering the 6+ hour drive, international border crossing, Sunday evening match.
