Where have I ever said any such thing? All I have said is that I am not impressed with Quon and would choose Wilkinson + Leon over Quon and some other outside mid. That does not mean that I am the only one that's right, it's just my personal opinion. I also never made any claims about who Orlando would pick. Look back at my post, I said "Here is what I'd do..." not "Here is what Orlando will/should do." You asked why I picked Wilkinson over Quon, and I gave you my personal reason for it. You can agree/disagree all you want. No problem. But when I ask for a suggestion of an alternative, you get all in a tizzy about someone's age, when all I want is to hear some suggestions.
I guess something I didn't think of until just now is that they could take Quon and Leon (and so not pick Erceg) and then pick a CB from Houston (I would avoid anyone from Boston like the plague) to keep that extra international slot open and at the same time alleviate two of the complaints about my list (Hi @Blaze20 ). Or they could go for Polkinghorn from Portland (I think she plays CB?) and hope that Australia won't keep her away most of the season like they did this year, however that still uses an international slot. (Keep in mind that Houston, Boston, and Portland are the only teams a player could still be selected from at this point in my pretend draft) Speaking of Houston Dash CBs, maybe they could sign former Dash draft pick Carleigh Williams as a bench player. She's from Beverly Hills, FL (just an hour and 1/2 from Orlando) and she played at UCF.
It's really simple to do. I've mentioned how to do so many many times. Yet you continue to ignore it.
We may be able to cross drafting a second keeper off the list. A report here that the Pride are looking into signing AD Franch, formerly of WNY, most recently in Norway. http://www.orlandosentinel.com/spor...-pride-paul-tenorio-1029-20151028-column.html
Equalizer has a good draft breakdown here: http://equalizersoccer.com/2015/10/28/the-lowdown-making-sense-of-mondays-nwsl-activity/
Two mock drafts from the Keeper Notes team: http://keepernotes.com/2015/10/30/the-keeper-notes-mock-nwsl-expansion-draft/
Very interesting lists. I may have stated once or twice before that I don't think Orlando will draft near retirees. So for that reason and the Hagen deal I'm not sure that Orlando takes any KC players unless KC wants someone taken. Hemmings, Sanderson, Hayes and Pressley are on both lists and have been mentioned before, so those choices are beginning to look more likely.
Another mock draft. Several of the same names. http://www.themaneland.com/2015/11/1/9651886/orlando-pride-mock-draft-for-the-nwsl-expansion
Nope. Kallman and King were Boston's starting CB pairing after Whitehill retired. Barczuk played DM. But at least that gives her a little (very little) less liability for Boston's porous defense, I guess...
My apologies to the OP for the redundant thread earlier. I wasn't trying to steal the show. I'm hooked up. And happily, I don't have to crane my neck! Had a little trouble getting started. It would go about 4-5 seconds and die. Please don't steal Mana.
Rumor from Hal is that they are expected to sign a GK not currently playing in NWSL, specifically AD Franch
