Olimpo scores again. I don't want to get ahead of myself, but just in case I'm going to the store to get some good IPAs.

    Final Scores:

    Olimpo 2 San Lorenzo 1
    Central 2 Argentinos 0

San Lorenzo is eliminated. Rosario Central is still alive, pending tonight's game.

    VAMOS BOCA CARAJO!!!

Edit: Actually a draw eliminates San Lorenzo, but not Central. A win gets Boca the title.

    The opponent:

Racing will be a difficult opponent, they've been one of the best teams this season, and they have dangerous players. They are in 5th place with 50 points in 27 matches. 14 wins, 8 draws and 5 loses, scoring 34 goals and allowing 22.

Racing has been one of Boca's traditional rivals since the amateur era. They've played 282 matches, with Boca winning 124, Racing winning 92, and 66 draws. Boca scored 435 goals and Racing 387.

The first match was in 1908 with Racing winning 1-0. The last match was last year in that crazy game that was suspended by rain with Boca winning 1-0 with a Calleri goal, and ended up 2-1 in favor of Racing when they played the final few minutes. Boca's biggest win was by 7-1 in 1937. Another big game was late in the 2008 season, when Boca with the title on the line beat Racing 2-1 with two Riquelme goals, and ended up being the champion.

Racing is expected to line up in a 4-2-3-1, with Gustavo Bou as the striker. Former Boca player Ricardo Noir will be in the starting lineup.

Can't take anything for granted. Hopefully being so close provides focus more than distraction.

What a cluster********. Defense is not showing up tonight. Cata takes another red.

Que arbitro de mierda! No era para expulsarlo al Cata. Si le pegó en la mano que cobre penal, pero no fue una jugada intencional. Parece que le dió en la cabeza y despues posiblemente en la mano. H de P!

It was really hard to tell on my stream how his arm was really placed. I could see it either way, which means the ref couldn't have been that certain.

Unreal! I swear that every third match I watch this year, we get someone sent off. I don't see how ANYONE could see intent from that play. I've seen so many replays and still am not convinced the ball hit his hand. But if it did, at worst you give the penal and a yellow there.

The more I look at it the more I'm convinced it was way too harsh. But I'm biased. Still the way we were playing I'm certain Racing would have scored anyway.

The ref is horrible. Racing is playing well, but Boca was creating lots of chances as well, before the ridiculous red card. Our defense is a disaster, especially on Colazo's side. Oh well, hopefully they'll regroup at halftime, but it's going to be an uphill battle.

Well, Boca put huevos in the 2nd half, Racing let up a bit, but they are too good a team to try to come back on with 10 men, let alone with 9. The ref conditioned this game. We'll have to go get the next one against Tigre.

All they have to do is take care of business at home. You'd take that opportunity every time.

Los Cuervos are still in the running right?
They win both, we lose both, and Rosario lose to Banfield.

Yes. Boca eliminates San Lorenzo with a draw today. A win eliminates Central and gives us the title.
