I'll probably visit in late January (games against Bremen at home, and away at Darmstadt) or failing that then in mid-December (games away to Augsburg and home to Hoffenheim). Try and let some of my luck from 2014 work it's magic once again! Can't wait to get hold of the 'third' kit Trikot :)

The ticket site was down from 5pm - midnight in Aus; (9am - 4pm Germany) .. at that point I fell asleep... next morning only tickets left are those around the away end or in the corners of the pitch. silly internet  i've got a ticket for the hoffenheim game ..with a bit of luck something might be left for the away game at Augsburg once the club allows public purchase.

    Championship celebrations in Sinsheim :x3:

Always nice to start a new season and a new managerial regime with a win...but some long stretches of crappy football there.

Howedes will be returning soon but it's an opportunity for the youngsters like Ayhan or Friedrich to step up. Kolasinac can also be CB if needed.

HT: 0-1. Can't break down the Darmstadt defence. They've had two chances so far, and they've arguably been the best chances of the game, can thank Fährmann's big frame we're not losing 2-0. At the moment it really looks like we're launching wave after wave of thoughtless attacks just thinking or hoping the Darmstadt defence will screw-up which is showing real disrespect to an organised line-up who have come here with a game plan and are implementing it to perfection -which is more than can be said for us. A little composure; Di Santo looks dreadful with the ball at his feet, Geis is practically a centre back, he's so deep at times Adele is probably down there with him. Few good chances would be better than a million half-hearted hopeful thingys .. whatever, i've pretty much given up trying to words. schießt ein ********ing Tor ...

Got a little bit annoyed with the amount of time wasting in the second half.. kinda funny to see the Schalke fans venting their frustration at this on the Darmstadt FB page after the game, top quality spam :sneaky: hopefully we'll get some revenge in January and they'll be sent packing in May 2016. Usually love seeing less financially well-off clubs punching above their weight, but Darmstadt's rubbish last night supplants my well wishes. they can f off.

    grrrrr

Anyone think the Draxler deal is going through? I really hope not, especially at the prices I keep seeing quoted.

Which rumours? Juve said they are no longer interested. Heldt said Juve only made one pityful offer. Are there new rumours? Can't see Draxler going unless someone substantially pays more than the 45m clause which I don't see happening.

This kind of thing is still being written today:

    http://forzaitalianfootball.com/2015/08/juventus-still-keen-on-schalke-star/?

Certainly hope it does not happen, especially at such a low price...not to mention he was one of the VERY few good performers on the pitch vs. Darmstadt.

Reads like the same crap. Juve's manager himself said at a press conference that they stopped going after Draxler. Heldt said he never heard from Juve again after their first offer.

I don't know why or how the same reports keep popping up in Italy for the last couple of weeks. Its the same idiotic numbers, it is always Juve might try again, it is always Schalke will lower the price. As far as I'm concerned, it is utter garbage. The transfer has been dead for weeks.

Maybe Heldt would have thought about it if Juve had offered 35-40m 6 weeks ago but they came up with 20m or so. Can't see him accepting an offer now, a week before the transfer window closes.

Schalke reports that they haven't received an offer from Juve. Looks like the same crap again.

    Dumbass headline from Fox

Schalke will leave it late to decide the future of in-demand Draxler

Well yes...since the deadline is hours away, I guess so.

However, even the idiotic Arsenal fan sites are giving up now. Glad he is staying around, the Wolfsburg thing was REALLY annoying to contemplate.

What? I think the transfer to Wolfsburg will go through at least if Heldt manages to find a replacement (Kostic from Stuttgart). It sounds far more concrete and advanced than all of the Juve rumours together.

Won't judge the transfer until there are half way reliable numbers out. Selling Draxler for 40m and buying Kostic for 15m might be decent business although it looks as if Stuttgart wants far more.

I am with you, if you can find a suitable replacement AND get some financial security that is obviously good business...even if it means seeing yet another local wearing a different Bundesliga trikot.

Welp...deal is done. Now we have 5 hours to secure a replacement. A pile of money is not going to do it, although it wouldn't be SO much worse than what we saw on the pitch Friday.

No replacement coming, only reactivating Santana. There is nothing wrong with reactivating him, Santana was never suspended or had an falling out with the team.

But the Draxler transfer is a nightmare. Can't believe Heldt totally misplayed that. Don't know if there was internal pressure or some secret agreements but selling Draxler without finding a replacement on the last day of the transfer window? That is sooooooooooooo bad. The only way that is acceptable if you let the buyer pay through the nose like Stuttgart tried with their price for Kostic (or Monaco does with Martial..).

I don't think 36m + 5m or more in bonuses is such a good price under these circumstances. There was no need to sell him, absolutely no need.
