http://www.footyheadlines.com/2015/08/us-soccer-2016-logo.html I don't think our current logo was broke. I'll be sorry to see it go. The new logo to me doesn't scream soccer, but as with most things, I reckon I'll get used to it. Thoughts?
The giant "USA" on it still screams '90s to me... I wish they would've just adopted the centennial crest. That was classy.
Looks like a gas station logo or something. I see they're going to scrap their lighter shade of blue recently for the more dark navy blue version in 2016.
The crest isn't great, but I hope it signals a change to more dignified kits. The 2015 ones are obnoxious with their neon yellow/green socks and the royal blue shading on the away kit isn't great either.
This would be a great logo for the Sauerbrunn Steakhouse. Which has a nice ring to it for a new joint to catch a unique kind of steak and appetizers.
What I don't like is the kits just changing completely every cycle. Although it's been a long time since I've hated a USA jersey, it would just be nice to have an enduring aesthetic.
Absolutely love more kits. This gives more refreshing news updates about the team, and continues to keep things fresh and hot off the press. These style of kits were worn forever back in the day (in college). For at least 5 years straight it seemed. They were cool when they first came out, but then you got tired of them, plus every school had this style.
