I want the gif in the middle, but it moves it down by itself. When I edit it, it just does it again. Is there a way to fix it?

It's Dutch style defending vs English style defending. It reminds me of this clip I saw from Neville once, where he analysed David Luiz at Chelsea with Jamie Carragher. Now, Neville was open to the idea of CB's chasing the ball up, being aggressive and making even plays happen. Carragher went crazy about him and said that he needed to stay in formation, being in line with his partner, of not the whole back line.

What Blind did was a bit the same. He chased upwards and even made some things happen (gifs jumps down my posts these days, don't know why):

What this method of defending leads to is that the other defenders must be able to handle their own. Darmian can, Shaw can, who could not handle his own? Jones. Did not do well with both goals. Van Gaal wants what Blind does, he does not want what Jones did. Getting embarrassed when people around him do not hold his hand. There is a difference in culture at the back and that leads to problems that PSG exploited well. PSG that is also quite simply better than United. More depth, maybe even more quality in every line. That is lack of speed causing problems again. If Memphis has a fast player at that right side, he has an extra outlet to flick it to. Attack needs more speed, for otherwise everything depends on the front 2 to make things happen and that is predictable and easy to defend. What I will say is that Memphis should have passed the ball more to Young. Young was standing free so many times, but was not used. With an attack pretty early in the game there was an excellent moment to pass it to Young and Memphis went for his own shot. There was also another game he should passed to Young.

Anyway, this game makes me doubt that United are CL contenders. In the end, PSG could even throw in the kids and United could still not score. Bad sign.
