Napoli gave us a good run for our money two seasons ago in the group of death, and garnered 12 points, the same amount we did, and only went out on goal differential, Sevilla would give many CL teams a hell of a game too. I just find winning the EL an expectation a bit too demanding
Are we worst than Napoli, Sevilla or Dnipro? Dnipro, that team from a no name league, right? They were leading Sevilla in the finals.
Striving for the EL win makes no sense at all. We play on Thursday having travelled outside Germany and then return only to play an important match on Saturday? We don't have the squad depth for that. There's a reason why Sevilla had no hope of 4th place while VfL gave 50% against Napoli on both legs. Also on the financial side it is bleaker. Even if we win we stand to make roughly 13M from UEFA (TV and Sponsorship). We made around 33M last year. Factor in matchday ticket sales and the gap gets bigger. Do we really want to jeopardise a crack at the BuLi for a knockout competiton that's only worth 13M? And that too with a bunch of players who are very injury prone?
I wouldnt say worse, but definitely teams that can beat us. On our day we can beat Madrid and Bayern, does that make them worse then us? Id probably find the answer to be no.
http://www.sport1.de/internationale...ich-ueber-kommunikationsprobleme-bei-dortmund article in German. Ciro having a big ol' cry about not being to speak to any one due to language issues. Also complained that TT didn't want him loafing around with his translator.
Sokratis and PEA speak Italian?!? I think TT did the right thing by getting rid of the translator. Being immersed is the best way to learn.
I had read that he only spent a year in Italy. But didn't know that Sokratis spent 3+ years in Italy.
Oh, it seemed like PEA spent more time bouncing around Italy - maybe because of his brothers. But when you're French-Spanish I imagine you'd be pretty conversant in Italian after a year. Ciro feeling lonely is unfortunate, he may have been shy on top of the language issue. For example Kagawa hardly speaks much German or English and still does well socially.

We have a good season and the team does not break up. Looking forward with hope. http://www.goal.com/en/news/15/germ...d-stay-at-borussia-dortmund-for-years-to-come
Changed my travelling dates and booked 2 tickets for April 30th game against Wolfsburg. I hope, we stay competetive and the game would be meaningful. Booked through Viagogo, 2 south tickets, for 275.00$
@dark knight could you close this obsolete thread? I'm afraid local moderators don't have such privileges.
I'm not sure dark knight is even relevant anymore. Is there another Super Mod that can give us a hand?http://forums.bigsoccer.com/threads/mod-for-borussia-dortmund.2023189/
