That Chris Rolfe fella is good. The rest of DCU is quite meh in my opinion; average enough to where we might actually give them a game. Last night showed what a talented, experienced leader like Rolfe can do to help drag their team to victory. No, Edu has not shown enough to be that guy. The closest we have is Nogs, and he checked out mentally a few weeks after the USOC Final loss last season. Cmon the U! I had no idea that Okugo was out on yellow cards. Anyone else read that Florentina might be interested in the Amobeast?
Hmm. I don't know if I see it. I know he wants to move to Europe, but does he have the reading of the game to make it at a team like Fiorentina that really wants to compete? I could see him rotting away there if he can't find minutes, which is always the obvious downside to moving to "bigger" teams in Europe. On the other hand, Pizarro isn't getting any younger and Aquilani is probably on the outs too, potentially to MLS. If I were him and I wanted to go to Italy, I'd go the Michael Bradley-Chievo route. Always about consistent playing time.
Sweet... someone knowledgable about Serie A chimed in. Thanks for the info! My first thoughts were that it seemed like too big of a club to get him some playing time. We'll see what happens.

There was a whole blog post, Brotherly Game I think, saying exactly this. "We suck bad now, but we won't suck this bad all season!"
Not to mention he hasn't exactly been tearing it up for Orlando either. He fell asleep against Vancouver on a set piece and his man scored the winner in the dying moments of the match. He was yanked at the half of the last game due to poor play. Now he'll likely have to play Centerback due to suspensions and injuries to OCSC's back four. He's not on Bradley's level, hell he isn't at MB's current MLS form level. MB was arguably at his zenith at Chievo and also Roma before injury derailed him. MB has not regained that form yet, unfortunately.
If the Union get so much as a point out this match I promise to say something nice about the franchise.
with Nando away with at Venezuela OG is now destined to reclaim it's top spot! Nando 3 OG 2 Ayuk 1 Maidana 1 Sapong 1 Pfeffer 1 Nogs 1
Is it raining in Philly? It's raining in Harrisburg and done want to make the drive to have my kids sit in the rain....
Not yet. I'm right outside Chester and we have been on the edge of a rain line all morning. Apparently it has been raining south and west but not here.
The SOBs will be protesting before entering the stadium apparently. https://m.facebook.com/sonsofben/ph...42937753716/10152961359433717/?type=1&theater
