Andrej Kramaric is no longer in Croatian league, since Christmas maybe.

Croatian Cup goals are not included there, so his contribution has nice label as major success.
He will play in the Cup final against RNK Split, match will be played in Zagreb, Dinamo's stadium.

National league and cup are mostly in the second plan, among Dinamo's fan base everything important starts to happen in July, when Qualifications for the Champions League start. Real problems start over there. Dinamo is too strong for the national league, but too weak for the Champions League with solid chances in the Europa League.

Dinamo will buy once again Gordon Schildenfeld, so that they finally create defensive quality. As usual, 2,3 key players will leave and everything returns back to zero.

Obviously I failed with my Castillo predictions as I did not foresee him moving to Germany... but with Angelo I must be pretty close if we count cup goals (national and international). I told you Gilbertsson!

Croatian league is about the same level as the Chilean league... not very good, although both leagues are still good enough to produce great players.

 

I think that Chilean league is stronger than Croatian:
- Chilean clubs participate in the Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana on a regular level and they often collect victories: Colo Colo 9 points, U. de Chile 3 points, Palestino 7 points. Esteban Paredes is among top scorers. Chilean national team achieves better results at World Cups and Copa America. European national teams became much more weaker in the last 15 years.

- Croatian clubs have problems with the Champions League entrance, same as passing the Europa League group stage.
NK Rijeka had 7 points in Europa League and GNK Dinamo Zagreb had 6 points.

Champions League is considered as the strongest club competition, but a lot of players in this competition came from South America and they have key roles.
Barcelona has 9 South American players, Bayern Munchen 3, Juventus 6 and Real Madrid 6.

So it's not easy to compare EU and SA leagues.

 

We didn't do well in Copa Libertadores either... none of us managed to get out of the group stages. It was pathetic. That's why Croatian and Chilean leagues are not very good, we can't challenge in continental competitions unless a very special generation comes through...

Every now and then we can produce decent teams. La U of Sampaoli a couple of years ago, won the Sudamericana and made it far into Copa Libertadores.

 

I doubt that any Croatian club will ever win Champions League or Europa League. Second position in group stages of both competitions would be success. Last competitive generations in UEFA competitions were Hajduk Split in 1994 year and Dinamo Zagreb in 1998, 1999.

1994/1995: Hajduk Split played in the quarterfinals, they lost against Ajax and they became title holders in this season.

You can see that teams like Manchester United were much more modest than IFK Goteborg.

Kanu and Frank de Boer scored against Hajduk in Amsterdam after 0-0 in Split.

1998/1999: Dinamo Zagreb played pretty good in this season. Second place in the group stage, but only first went further.

Which league should Angelo move to next? I think he is not ready for the top leagues... but maybe a good intermediate one like Portugal or France would be good...

A lot of goals in Croatian league usually doesn't mean prosperity in some foreign league.

In this link you can see seasonal top scorers in Croatian league, I doubt that you know anything about them: Kozniku, Spehar, Cvitanovic, Baturina, Popovic, Erceg, Bosnjak, Terkes, Krstanovic, Beqiraj, Benko, Cop...

Angelo Henriquez should play in Spanish league. He will get a lot of opportunities in clubs like: Villarreal, Sevilla, Espanyol, Celta Vigo...

 

Good point, the thing that might set Angelo apart is if had time on the national team, which is a huge window.

 

It seems that he will participate in his national team, he will avoid club preparations from 11th June - 4th July, because he is on wider list of national team players.

Chile will play against Bolivia, Mexico and Ecuador. Chile should collect at least 7 points here. Mexico seems strong at the moment.

As you can see, only few European countries have the broadcasting rights for this tournament: Kosovo, France, Spain is not confirmed yet. Now you can see the influence of UEFA, how they isolate every other major competition for their own interests. Youtube live streaming I guess.
