In the CFU Club Championship? That would be W Connections 12-1 win over Bath Estate (Dominica) back in the 2009 edition!
*live* Group 1 Central - Inter 2-0 Trinidad and Tobago side Central have only one option to qualify to semis - they have to defeat home side Alpha in MD3. Guyanese champion goes through with a draw (or win, of course). Group 3 Moulien - Excelsior 3-2 Moulien is back in game after hard-fought win over Surinamese side - who are now eliminated. Group 4 Sainte-Rose - Lyford Cay 2-2 We'll most probably get first semi-finalist today as Don Bosco needs a win (against Helenites) to secure #1. Sainte-Rose embarrassed themselves today.
In group 2 game SAP - Guyana Defence Force ended in a goalles draw so they need to win against W Connection to qualify to semis - else, Trinidad Tobago side qualifies while Guyanese team is out. Montego Bay of group 3 is on course to qualify after defeating home side America des Cayes by 4-1. In last matchday they play against Surinamese side Excelsior which lost both games and we already can say they qualified to Final four. In group 4 Don Bosco secured #1 as they defeated USVI side Helenites by 5-1. They will play group 3 winner in semis - meaning they will face Jamaican side Montego Bay. This stage concludes on Sunday.
Montego Bay topped group 3 after they won their last game (Excelsior, 3-0). They qualified to semis where they face Don Bosco. That mean CCL gets another debutant next season.
Group stage is now over. In group 1 T&T side Central defeated home team Alpha by 3-1 and qualified to semis where they face their compatriots W Connection, who trashed SAP by 7-2 (two wins in two games wor W, 7-1 and 7-2). Semifinal 22 May Central - W Connection Montego Bay - Don Bosco Third place match/Final 24 May Host stadium is yet to be determined. At least two debutants will represent CFU in 2015-16 CCL (only W Connection appeared twice, 2012-13 and 2013-14).
Guys, when will it be semifinal matches?W Connection and Central played the games championship of Trinidad and Tobago yesterday, although must were play in Caribbean Cup
http://cfufootball.org/index.php/cf...bosco-reach-cfu-club-championship-final-round Here they say it's 22/24 May, as mentioned before. BTW, their PR sucks big time.
I am sorry. Did not pay regard to month of leadthrough of these matches)) Decided therefore, that they must will take place in April, but not in May. Once again I apologize for misunderstanding
Trinidad and Tobago will host the final round from May 22nd to May 24th. They have also changed the semi final line up!!!
CFU have changed the link for the above information. This one should work: http://www.cfufootball.org/index.ph...mpionship-final-round-goes-to-trinidad-tobago
Classic CFU - just as the Dominican Republic how they got plunked into the tougher Group A of the 2012 Caribbean Cup finals when the format clearly called for them to be in Group B. Having said that, at least they were honest: "...the CFU will be executing its mandated responsibility of organizing the Final Round of the CFU Club Championship Tournament." IOW, "...with no one willing to withdraw à la Valencia last year and make things easier on us, fine, we'll go ahead with this final round."
