Hard game for KuPS. At 44' IFKM scored a good goal, well deserved. Freddy is playing on the left side, not very well because he recived just a few balls. He earned a good FK and a yellow card from his opposite marker. I hope he will put in the middle or on the right where he can use his vision.

Finished the game for Freddy at 61'. Bad game for the team, as well for Freddy. Not a great idea to put him on the left.

Away game to one of the Top 4 best teams in the league. A tie is not a bad result at all.

Adu wasn't bad, he was just disconnected. Once again he may be trying to do more his thing than whatever the plans for the team were. I saw him moving forward quite a bit, but everything seemed to be happening on the other side.

What's worrisome is that the guy who came in for him, even though he didn't do anything as good as drawing a FK and a yellow for his marker, seemed more integrated in the game, and probably had as many touches in 30' as Freddy did in 60'.

Strange guy, who from an individual perspective seems to always do well enough, but from a team PoV seems barely involved.

PS: Tying goal was near the end, long after Adu was gone. His replacement wasn't involved. Stephen McCarthy once again played the full 90. I'd say he has become more established with the team than Adu already.

Meanwhile, American defender Stephen McCarthy went a full 90 for KUPS

and Cobi Spann went a full 90 for Mariehamn

A little off-topic but is anyone else amused that there is an active gameday thread for a Finish game for Adu (which overlooks two Americans) while there is no gameday thread for Fabian Johnson vs JAB in one of the biggest YA club games of 2015?

(EDIT: a gameday thread was started at HT for the BMG vs. Hertha game)

I was about to do the Hertha-Gladbach one, but every PBP thread I've started I seem to be the only one who cares, so I sort of assumed no one else was watching.

It could just be that Freddy was playing out of position and we shouldn't draw any conclusions from one match.

    That said... BENCH ADU!

I fully expect him to be transfer listed come July 1st.:p
