Saints with a good "risk" pick in PJ Williams.

Jerry Jones as a "father figure"? Wow... So you want an arrogant, stubborn old rich dude who loves being the center of attention as your "father figure"? Okey dokey.

Don't know too much other than he's not really a playmaker as far as getting picks. Solid press guy. I didn't watch as much Stanford last season as I did before like in the last 5-6 years (was a huge Luck fan since his freshman year).

Thanks. Ball skills are nice, but physicality at the catch point and reliable tackling are solid alternatives.

I only saw him a couple of times so my impressions aren't high degree of confidence, but:

Good reads, tough, will stick his nose in against the run, decent cover skills-- awful hands.
    Bricks on sticks.

Not outstanding speed-- I thought the whole Stanford team was slowish both sides of the ball.

I'd think he's better as a safety, but the Lions do need at least one corner who'll attack blockers without being a pushover in coverage, and he might be it.

There have been quite number of teams that have drafted well, more so than in recent years. The NFC East as a whole has drafted pretty well. The Giants reached for their first pick a bit but for excellent value with their second. The Iggles made a solid pick with their first and I really like (hate) their second. And lastly, the Cowboys may have the best draft thus far, which pains me to say. I haven't seen much of Jones, but most of what I read has been positive. He was a combine freak, but he showed lots of good things on tape. Gregory wasn't a big risk late in the second. I still don't understand how Shane Ray goes a little over a full round ahead of Gregory.

I usually prefer NFL Network's coverage, but I actually enjoyed ESPN's coverage on Thursday. Mel is Mel, Gruden has solid insight despite some of his packaged lines and Louis Riddick was EXACTLY the type of person I was looking for to give me analysis during the draft. And he wasn't even supposed to be on the set. Ray Lewis was supposed to be there, but decided to stay in Baltimore. The tough part was putting up with Berman.

Seahawks are being aggressive this draft. I guess they are in position to do so.

I can't stand Berman and I have liked riddick when he has made appearances on other ESPN shows so I see what you mean.

Me too. I'd rather get someone like diggs late than a devonte Parker early. And it's nice to see zimmer get plenty of say in the draft room.

Unsexy, but could be solid. I don't know a lot of their mid-round picks, but I'll give a quick rundown based on what. I know. Laken Tomlinson is a decent pick IMO, really think it attacks a severe need, and I'm always a big fan of good interior offensive line play; tough guy, plays with leverage, and knows how to protect the QB. Not a big fan of Ameer Abdullah, his fumble problems and his ability to run inside the tackles are question marks, and I liked Tevin Coleman and Duke Johnson better, but if he can be a home-run threat out of the backfield and a Sproles-esque threat on third-down, two things we lacked with Reggie's severe decline last year, I'll be happy. Carter lacks ball skills, but he seems to be a decent cover guy, physical in press-man, and a tackler; three big check marks for me, as Slay is definitely a similar archetype, so he'll fit well. Gabe Wright is a pick I know next to nothing about, but he's a raw, athletic hustler, and our D-line coach seems to do well with those types. Not a fan of over drafting a FB in the fifth, and I know nothing at all about Diggs or Robinson.

I'm by no means a boxing fan, but I watched Mayweather-Pacquiao and it was exactly what I expect. I feel bad for those who spent big money on the fight. Even the experts predicted crazy things like knockouts or Manny winning. I can't stand Floyd but i knew he would win in the same fashion as he always does -- and those fights aren't exciting.
