Herrmann just keeps on scoring, bagging another brace today. He sets a new career high with his 10th Bundesliga goal of the season, along with 4 in the Europa League. Strong restart after the international break as he also just signed a contract extension with Gladbach til 2019. Kruse with a goal and 2 assists in the 4-1 victory versus Hoffenheim.

Herrmann playing on another level right now. Destroys Dortmund's entire defense on this run for Gladbach's second:

Holger Badstuber has suffered a muscle tear in his thigh. The defender needs surgery and will be out for 3-4 months.

This is Badstuber's second major injury and stint on the sidelines this season. Remember he missed 14 games earlier in the Hinrunde with a torn tendon. At this point, he should just focus on staying healthy for his club career. Last thing you want to do is bring a player into a tournament who is a constant fitness liability.

Mario Gomez scores the goes ahead opening goal versus Dynamo Kiev that sends Fiorentina into the Europa League semi-finals. They will now face Sevilla in the next round.

Ilkay Gundogan close to finalizing a 30 mio transfer deal to Manchester United this summer.

    Dage repped this.

Badstuber shouldn't be 3rd CB even he is healthy...he needs to prove a lot to be ahead of Mustafi, Howedes...

Not sure Can or Selke belong there, no Gundogan at this point. or the fullbacks for that matter.

Emre Can isn't even a starter in the U21 team
Selke will play on Bundesliga2 next season, we'll see him first for WC U20 2015 and Olympic 2016
Is Schmelzer still better than Jonas Hector?
Gundogan still have to back to his prime condition, have a tough competition with Basti as captain, Khedira, Kramer, and Lars
It's interesting if Loew will consider Durm as RB, we'll see
For AMC, I think Oezil is more creative than Kroos

Ehm, of course. If he is fit, he is starter and he will start at the Euros, Hrubesch loves him

The NT really has so many midfielders to choose from,
Schweinie, khedira Kroos , gundogan, benders , Kramer, Can, Hahn, muller , Goetze, Reus , Meyer , Gotetzka, draxler, Gintner Oezil, Hermann , bellrabi , , rhode , Weiser, gaudino, Schurrle That's 23 players .
Sure some not in form and others still young but I guess we won't have a problem putting up two complete sets of midfielders .
Anyone I forgot that could be part of these guys in the next few years

We had a few players like Kroos , Müller, goetze , Lahm in his days who were already good very good players at age of 21/22 , don't see any of those stars around
