oh my.... meh! 25 points from the last nine (8 wins, 1 draw) vs Norwich ... until today. source: http://www.11v11.com/teams/sheffield-wednesday/tab/opposingTeams/opposition/Norwich City
wow. what a brutal weekend of football so far. Wednesday's draw, my team got drilled again last night, 3-0, Spurs lost too... i would turn to F1 for relief but i know who is going to win there...
IN CELEBRATION OF OUR BIG WIN I GOVE YOU THE UNDERTONES, MY PERFECT COUSIN ... Perfect for the footballer who likes old fashioned punk rock and Subbutteo!
that's a very costly loss for brentford looking at the table. speaking of the table, i still can't believe who's on top of it right now. i really hope they're able to hold on and make it to the premiership.
1-0-4 in our last 5 vs Watford... =( http://www.11v11.com/teams/sheffield-wednesday/tab/opposingTeams/opposition/Watford
i don't like our odds. seriously they are going to have to bring in some serious firepower to even begin to look like promotion next season.
eleven players out of contract to whom offers will not be extended. http://www.swfc.co.uk/news/article/owls-reveal-player-list-2442178.aspx no huge surprises, particularly as Wednesday appear to have dramatically increased their resources. that said, releasing Buxton doesn't sit well for me. I know he's had injuries, and there's little place for sentiment in these types of decisions, but he's still of a quality that SWFC is not likely to be above in '15-'16. plus, I just like him. Easily my favorite player at the club over the last 5+ years ... not that the club should be taking that into account. if they did, emerson thome would still be there. best of luck, Lewis, wherever you end up.
ha! i agree though. i never bought one of his kits but i wish i would have now. from what i've seen on the telly he was usually one of our best on the pitch.
