I miss the world cup so much!!! It was simply a heavenly time, specially my time spent in Brazil. Am I the only one who still feels that we are just in that 3-4 days between matches and the next match is tomorrow? I still watch world cup videos of goals, fan reactions, emotional outbursts, commentaries - just can't get out of it...

Dunno if it helps anyone but German fans.... but from Nov 10th on there will be a movie in theaters on the German win with background material of before and during WC that was actually shot for the webpage or wasnt meant for publishing etc. Similar to whats been done in 2006. Title: "die Mannschaft". 90 mins.

Good! I'm glad you can't get out of it. You shouldn't anyway. Football (or soccer as some call it) has something magical in it that other sports don't. Not to mention such major football competitions like the WC, which always bring emotions, passion and a few things that remain in the memory for many years.

There are so many reasons, starting with a basic one: a time zone in Brazil just an hour earlier than we have in the East. And of course there is the speed of it all. Not just the speed and beauty and grace and magic of the game itself, but the speed with which these games are played.
