Well 100% is a far too often used term, they had two chances fits the bill better.

Can anyone describe first 30 minutes with a few words? Only saw the last 15 of the first half and this was just plain awful.

Is it my choppy stream or is that move Götze just did in the box disgustingly filthy

If i didn't knew, i'd say Germany's U-17 or something played. Australia deserved to win, luckily/sadly they failed to convert their 2 brilliant chances. 1 where we lost ball in the midfield(prob Ilkay) and they came countering, were 3 to 2 and their striker decided to take the shot, missed it and 2nd was on break again, when high cross found their striker at back post, who failed to bring it home. Also, Zieler, if you continue to play like this, say bye. That freekick was a must save for any solid goalkeeper.

2:2 is a fair result...you need to keep in mind both Reus, Gotze missed 2 easy sitters and Kruse, Podolski could have scored the 3rd one

The best football match I've seen in the past 4 months. But also the 2nd worst.

Is anyone really surprised that Germany didn't win in a friendly? It's always the same. Maybe they'll try a bit harder if it's a game against Italy or Spain but that's about it. They lost the last friendly against Australia in 2011, so this draw is already an improvement.

Pretty much agree, looks like they kept the core of the team on the bench and was giving everyone else and new tactics a tryout.
