So, I went through ESPN's soccer scores for this weekend and found people you might remember and are amazed they still exist in the scorelines. Milovan Mirosevic scored for Union Espanol. Sebastian Rincon was a sub for Tigre while Augustin Pelletieri was an unused sub. Milton Caraglio went 90 for Velez. David Ferriera scored for Atletico Huila. German Mera went 90 for Deportivo Cali. Jhon Kennedy Hurtado was a sub for Deportivo Pasto while Yamith Cuesta was unused. Jose Mari was a sub for Levante. Darren O'Dea went 90 for Blackpool. Franco Niell was a sub for Rosario Central. And Gilberto scored for Vasco da Gama. Sure I missed a bunch of others, but I only went through select leagues over 2 days.
Of course, 3 of the 4 interconference games this weekend were at Eastern conference locations. The East won 0 of those - including against the Western whipping boys from Colorado. In fact, the East has not won a single interconference game at home so far this year in 5 or 6 attempts. Not exactly an impressive stat.
For those asking, the halftime parachutist who had to land outside Avaya did so deliberately after being pushed off course. No injuries.— Geoff Lepper (@quakesbeat) March 23, 2015 He dove.
Nope. My primary sources of beer are Ballast Point and Deschutes these days. I haven't knowingly bought anything from AB InBev or one of the other conglomerates, including Goose Island, in years.
I usually don't either, but I also don't let ownership get in the way of tasty beer. Speaking of which, I'm currently drinking the following: Brewed with barley AND hops from Colorado, only available in Colorado, and... brewed by the "AC Golden Brewing Company." It's a very good beer and very balanced.
The only time and place for cheap canned beer was getting it illegally in high school/undergrad. Those days are long gone for me.
This is a reminder that Steven A. Smith, Skip Bayless, and Colin Cowherd all draw large paychecks from ESPN.
Sometimes, you're at a party or at a stadium or at an arena or at a bar where the beer selection is a bit lacking, and you don't want to be That Guy.
I like that so many craft beer are going with cans instead of bottles. You can take them more places and they maintain a more consistent taste from canning to consumption because, unlike bottles, they don't let in any light or oxygen.
I'll find liquor, wine, or some other option at that point. Cheap, bland macrobeer is never an option.
Agreed. I was stoked when DC Brau debuted with 3 beers and all were canned. They're also much easier to ship without losing taste/carbonation.
never liked IPAs, and that sucks living over here because its the trendy type of beer everyone thinks is cool. Give me more stuff like Irish Death from Iron Horse Brewery please.
