Weird. Saborio has talked about how much he loves mountain biking in Utah. Maybe he got an exemption in his contract?

Agreed, not to mention that just saying Vail is selling the whole area short there are a ton of activities between Golden and Glenwood Springs along the I-70 corridor. If they are an outdoorsman of any type then the region is unparalleled. After that there is the peak-to-peak corridor, Estes Park. Just ridiculous stuff really.

Michael is the Farfan who is the attacking midfielder who always looks slick, but doesn't actually produce anything.

Gabriel is the Farfan who can be a mediocre LB and a mediocre LW at the MLS level. He's currently a fringe player at Chiapas.

Austin berry and Nana Attakora headed to NY Cosmos.

Huge additions, Austin berry two years ago was playing every minute for the chicago fire.
NY Cosmos seem destined to make a run in US Open cup.

Austin Berry's career arc is strange.

I don't get how Berry is not rated by MLS teams.

If you are mentioning a disease related to Ballouchy it would be the persistent injuries that have hampered such a talented player. Its a great pick up for DC to get Farfan, he will combine with Birnbaum, Luis Silva, Sean Franklin, Kemp and Korb to form one of the top teams in MLS next year. I feel bad for the Union, Farfan will teach them a lesson when they play DC. Farfan IMHO is one of the most talented MLS players that we have seen. I am surprised that El Tri or Klinsmann have not give him a look.

People used to talk about Berry like they talk about Birnbaum now. But i don't think Berry ever got called up. They are both tough and talented four year college soccer players who were ready to turn play when turning pro and did not need any hand holding.

Let me get this straight. You are surprised that a 26 year old that managed 13 minutes at Cruz Azul hasn't been looked at El Tri? Klinsmann I understand because he likes to troll us, but El Tri? You must be having a laugh.

It will be interesting what happens to Ballouchy this year. Remember that his teammate Jason Kreis, when made coach, was the one that traded him to Colorado for Beckerman (greatest.trade.ever). Now Kreis has him back in NYC, we'll see if Kreis either finally gets consistency out of him or buries him. I would think the latter.

Just noticed this and I don't know how it compares to other teams, but 14 of the Rapids 24 signed players are 6 feet tall or taller.
