Allocation funds? Supposedly Espindola was earning around 400ish K but DCU bought it down to 150k with allcation funds. Maybe Sacha will be similar?
It probably depends to a certain extent on how the new CBA works out for MLS. It certainly seems like there will be an increase in the salary cap, although it's difficult to tell how much. If the minimum salary amount for DPs increase or the # of DPs per team increases then there certainly could be room for him in LA
starting to look that way after that big montreal-RBNY trade I now anxiously await all of the overseas USMNT players that do not want to come to San Jose for the next allocation slot.
Sacha rejoins MLS. A "non-DP in the first year," whatever that means. http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/artic...kljestan-returns-mls-signs-new-york-red-bulls Last one out of YA turn out the lights!
Oh come on, the guys who were born and grew up in Europe won't come here any time soon. Chandler and Williams can barely speak English anyway.
Sigh. There's a lot of dust on a lot of tables in this forum. Still, development of MLS into a better league with better exposure in the US is very good for US Soccer. Takes some of the fun out of it, though . . .
This may be good for "US Soccer" in 15-20 years, but it is NOT good for the USMNT. Very alarming, actually.
